I don't drink at all. [editline]12th March 2012[/editline] Probably going to hang out with my friend Megan.
What do you do in life of you don't drink?
What do you do in life of you don't drink?
I don't drink either. I can still live a life
What do you do in life of you don't drink?
Do copious amounts of drugs. Duh.
Sheesh guys take a joke. I mean, alcohol is the greatest thing on the face of the planet, but not everyone has to enjoy it.
Hey guys I know this is a dumb question but do you know where the best place to jack my car up/ put the jack sands is? I used the jack points on my 2008 Equinox but when I lowered the vehicle I have put a 1mm deep dent in the damn thing (chevy strong), it bothers me because I don't really want to be messing with the structural integrity of my frame and I don't want to keep having to repaint the place where the paint falls off (if you do however 3M makes a rubberized coat just for that reason). I know that they can also be placed near the wheels or something but I've yet so see/hear of where exactly they go. Thanks!
axles? My grand ams jack points crumple like fuck lol GM STRONG!
Fuck it, ordering EEPROM tonight. Boosting the EF. I'm tired of being noisy and slow. :v:

They need to come out with an ECU that has two adjustment pots on the case you turn with a common screwdriver, one for fuel mix and one for ignition timing. Maybe a third for the advance curve. No more difficult than adjusting an old school v8, but with the advantages of EFI.
What do you do in life of you don't drink?
fun stuff I can actually remember doing the next day. On our F150s, the spring perches work wonderfully. On double-wishbone vehicles I usually put them either on the spring perch of the lower wishbone, or if it's MacPherson, I put them on the pivot point.
OHHHHH SHIT IT'S ON
:v:

I have to have a sophisticated fuel map.
Was headed to my parents' for birthday dinner and decided to play around.
Hahaha sorry brad, but I lol'd at "ugh, fuck yeah" :v:
I'm glad you did :P Was more or less the point.
Got my front grill today :) now it doesn't look like a banger from the front.. And later this week i'll get my exhaust system, i can't wait :)
My car's interior is starting to feel cheap. The other day the latch for my console box snapped off. A replacement latch is 7 dollars which is way too expensive for a little piece of plastic. The age of held together by duct tape and superglue for my car begins :v:
local weather indicate that my swap will begin monday!!!
local weather indicate that more cold will maybe come soon :c Maybe more snow next week. So no Beetle yet even though the weather is great as hell right now
local weather indicates that it's fucking summer here already fuck
My uncle is coming to drop off the trailer soon so that means I can finally have him do a mechanical inspection on my truck and get it insured, fuck yeah!
Sweet, just found a site full of replacement parts for my car. Once I get some money I am going to splurge on that website
Local weather indicates that it's been summer forever, except for like 2 or 3 weeks in January.
Fucking tits this is beautiful It combines the two platforms I love best: The DSM 4G63 and the 4th gen Civic.
Car does 1100 Miles no issues. I drive to the town and the electric mirror joystick breaks off... Really?!
fuck yeah DSM's [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] lol @ the two miatas that kept spinning out in that turn [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] >>whats the price on the pontiac >1900 >>firm? >im flexible >>ive got $900 right nah gave him a 15 second awkward silence where i couldnt figure out if i should just hang up or not, then said no thanks. Im going to be fucking mad if all the offers i get are from Upstanding Gentlemen who want to pay me sub 1k

Thanks!
I've always put the jackstands under my lower control arms near where they attach to the chassis when doing something like an oil change or non-suspension based work. When I need to have the car on stands for quite a while I jack it up by the center pad of the core support which looks like a really sturdy point in it so that I can put stands under the jack points on the sides of the car. With some vehicles which aren't FWD they would probably have a cross member which goes across, under the engine which should be able to support the vehicle until you slide some jack stands under the proper location. http://www.equinoxforum.net/index.php?topic=2777.0 Seems to have found that the core support and rear axle works to jack it up.
does this look like a scam to you guys? http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/2855477826.html
I'm running out of brake lights. My right and middle lights have gone. Anyone offering any help on how to sort them out? I would of think it was the bulbs but the brake lights use the same bulbs as the rear lights, and they're fine. Its just when I put the brakes on that only my left comes on. I'm aware that this is probably the most basic of car maintenance, which is terrible.
they might be double filament bulbs
Can you explain that to me?
And then crash into a mailbox
And then walk away frustrated, instead of riding away in an ambulance.
does this look like a scam to you guys? http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/2855477826.html
Seems legit enough... Probably not giving the full story but definitely worth checking out.
Can you explain that to me?
one of the filaments might be busted
