Well, it seems that I, along with two others have embarked to make a STALKER Loadout. So, this thread is going to be for us and others to help us along as we do so. Since I've never actually made a STALKER Loadout most of this OP is devoted to Reference, tips, suggestions and ideas. Table of Contents: * S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Loadout Suggestions. * Duty Suggestions * Freedom Suggestions. * Monolithian Suggestions * Clear Sky Suggestions (Upon Request, I'll make it.) * Mercenary (Upon Request, I'll make it.) * Bandit (Upon request, seems easy enough to make) * Military Suggestions (I'll take a donation with this, extensive information on Russian-Themed Loadouts are out there.) * Mutant (Upon request, seems rather easy, minus cosmetics) * Gasmaks * Uniforms * Weaponry (I'll need donations on what AK variants are decent, as I have little expertise in this field.) * Reference Pictures - Video Game * Reference Pictures - Real Life Examples * Video References * Airsoft Custom Forum's S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Suggestions: The key thing to remember concerning S.T.A.L.K.E.R. loadouts is what the Faction (If you want to call it that) is really about, known as Loners. There is not a single title you can give all the STALKERs of the Zone. STALKERs range from Experienced Soldiers, Treasure Hunters, Game Hunters, Thrill Seekers, Criminals, Thinkers and much more. First, I think it would be best to decided what YOU would do if you were a STALKER and your motives behind it. STALKERs are unorganized, poor and most of all, loners. This brings us to the key point of making this loadout. Everything STALKERs wear or use is almost completely improvised from spare parts and resources at hand. Painters Masks, Goggles, Raincoats, Headwraps, Coats, Jackets, Boots, Pants, etc. etc. should all be worn down, torn a bit (Not to the point it'll fall apart on you), dirty and worn. Most of these items should be easy to find, although the basic - 'Sunrise Suit' otherwise known as the STALKER suit may be the most popular and known variant the STALKERs in SoC and CS wear, it's by no means the only one. If you lack the materials and skills to make this suit (Which almost everyone does) it is not hopeless, sometimes the best STALKER loadouts and suits look nothing like the Video Game counterparts, as you'll see below. Duty Suggestions: I'm not sure where to start with this one. Rule of thumb is: Duty likes black, with red as a secondary color. Most of the Duty Suits and Gear are specifically made for Duty, by Duty. This makes it a bit harder to replicate in real life, seeing as how most Airsoft Players aren't tailors or craftsmen (Not to say all aren't). The basic suit however, known as the - PSZ-9d Duty Armor (Going to say it right now, it's identical to the Guardian of Freedom suit, only is the color scheme different, so keep that in mind Freedom.) Is, in theroy a rather easy suit to make assuming you have some patience, time, skill and resources to do so. Basic set up is simple. Blackcoat and a big, brown pistol belt around the waist, obviously pants to go with it. Then what appears to be body armor cut in half below the chest and sown onto said jacket with red fabric sown on the armor as well for cosmetics, perhaps popped out a bit for added effect. The Gasmask is a simple Respirator with a Tube, paint each filter red and you're good. Painters masks are also a affordable and easy solution. Doing the above loadout is also a good base for which to create a Duty SEVA suit. Or any SEVA suit for that matter, assuming you change the color scheme according. Simply adding a dome helmet like the one featured in a SEVA Suit would make it so. Duty SEVA Suit: Regular SEVA Suit: (If you decide you want this, try to follow the above steps for the Duty Suit and attach a dome like the one pictured (Not sure where or how you'd get one) and keep in mind color scheme.) Freedom Suggestions: Let me mention the Freedom, in my opinion are rather easy. First of all, if you wear Flora or Flecktarn with a Loadbearing Vest and a Akm variant. You're good to go. If you want to go deeper into it, the easiest, as mentioned above is the - Guardian of Freedom suit: Basically follow the same steps as in the Duty article, keeping in mind the changing color schemes and you'll create it. If you want to go a step up, we have - Kombez Freedom M2 ((Also identical to STALKER suit, minus color scheme, keep that in mind, sons of the Monolith)) The vest, if it exists (I think it may, it looks alot like a crossdraw imo) would make this the easiest of all loadouts. Simply buy the vest, Flora/Flecktarn and a Painters mask and you'd be finished. Assuming it doesn't exist, you'll have to make one, I could only make theories on how one would do this. A MOLLE Vest with the pouches seen above may work, however this may not look so well in practice. Monolith Suggestions: If you happen to worship a giant radioactive glowing pylon in the center of a decomissioned Nuclear Power Station somewhere in Europe, then you'll want a - Monolith suit. Identical to the Freedom Vest, see above, the only difference appears to be color scheme/belt which are minor. Note: Should be worn with a form of Winterized, light gray or urban camo with bits of brown mixed, preferably there should be brown rubberized pads sown onto the knees, elbows and shoulder, or actual protective pads. Gasmasks: When of the most iconic items of a STALKER Suit, no matter what the faction. The Gasmask of your suit, if you chose to have one (It's not required, sometimes rags, wraps or nothing at all are perfectly fine and preferable.) can be simple and cheap, or costly and impressive. These can range for Rebreathers, Resperators, Painters Masks: To full face masks: There are hundreds of different Gas Masks, some rare, some common, some cheap and some costly. Some of the Gasmasks in STALKER are direct copies of real life counter parts, some aren't and if you're looking for a complete remake, you'll need to use some elbow grease. Finding them online is quite common, many Surplus shops also sell them. I'd like to note: The GP-5 Gasmask may be one of the most common, if not the most in the world. Created in huge amounts during the Cold War, Stockpiled in School and Hospital Basements for civilians in the event of war, after the fall of the wall the market was flooded with these. I own one, which was only $5 USD. They're a great, cheap mask for those on a budget, HOWEVER, they're not featured in STALKER so the presentation goes down a few points, and they're difficult to use when firing a weapon as the filter gets in the way. Uniforms: Under all suits, as suits normally only cover the chest and random parts of the body, there is base Camo. STALKERs use anything, from leather jackets, raincoats, poncho's and general camo. Duty normally use black jackets of no particular interest. Freedom uses - Flora: or Flecktarn: Both can be bought online. Monolith use a Winterized Camo or a light gray camo, perhaps a form of urban with bits of brown mixed in, why this is, no one knows but the Monolith it's self Weaponry: Weaponry is a big part, obviously because if you plan to play airsoft you need to defend yourself, here are some links to weapons whom have made themselves known in STALKER. Akm/AK variants will not be listed as there are tons of them, and I lack the A. Patience B. Knowledge to accurately give advice on them. Unless someone else throws me a bone, I won't put any up here. TRs 300, otherwise known in real life as the LR300. The A&K Full Metal G300 is a remake of these rifles. It costs $199.99 on ASGI and includes battery, chargers, swivel mounts and magazine. They sell both a short and long barrel version, the one depicted in STALKER is short barreled and it gives an advantage in CQB, but it's entirely the users choice. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_164&products_id=4801 (Short) http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_164&products_id=4802 (Long) The gun gets decent reviews, it's also rather cheap and is compatible with rather common and inexpensive M4/M16 magazines. Used by both Freedom, STALKERs, Merc's, Clearsky and the Monolith. GP-37, otherwise known as the G36. Classic Army sells a few different variations on it. The one above is $305.00, battery and charger not included. However, I do not own one nor have talked to one who has, but since it's CA I can only assume quality. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_91&products_id=1035 I am also going to throw in the JG MK36K, JG seems to be a decent company so I assume this is a decent buy for the price, which is $145.00. It includes battery and charger and comes with a 3x scope. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_166&products_id=4622 The IL-86, otherwise known as the L85. ICS, ARES, G&G and various other companies sell variants of the L85 with varied prices (Most high) and accessories as well as specs, below is a list of L85 airsoft rifles. (ICS pictured above, $400.00, out of stock on ASGI atm, 2 mags.) http://www.airsoftgi.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=L85&x=0&y=0 The AK, Akm series of Rifles. There are hundreds of AK and Akm variant rifles out there, I've listed a listing of them below on ASGI for you to look through. (CM031 AK-74 UTG pictured above, $135.00, charger, battery, magazine x2) There are simple guidelines, there is no set criteria that you need to meet, there are no STALKER weapons and Non-STALKER weapons. However, the above mentioned are common and popular within the Zone and in the real world outside it. It's more or less finished. I'll throw in some more guns later, like the SIG and such.
Epic thread man.
I wish so much that Airsoft wasn't illeagle in Australia.
I'm going after picture two. Still trying to find anything. lol it's way hard. expecialy when I don't have any idea where to look. and google failed.
I found a jacket perfect for a stalker suit but it costs so much, Also would a US M17 gas mask be good for a monolith loadout? http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/The-North-Face-Blackhawk-Down-Print-Jacket-Mens/TNF3589M.html?CMP_ID=SH_FRO001&CMP_SKU=TNF3589&mv_pc=r126
I would love to do a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. loadout so much, but I don't have the time, patience or cash for it.
the one I'm doing just needs a gorka and a gasmask.
the one I'm doing just needs a gorka and a gasmask.
Yeah, but my brand new $340 M4 wouldn't really fit in, now would it? :v:

I somehow doubt that'd be a good Monoith loadout. ACU + Tactical Crossdraw isn't exactly the Monolith thing. [editline]01:57PM[/editline] And the mask isn't like anything in the game. Monolithian gasmasks are blocky with small filters it seems.

Perfect Merc Suit Replication.
The biggest problem was that the suit is meant to be used in October and those photos were shot in July during a heat wave. There are 5-6 layers of clothing in some parts so it got really hot really fast.
Time Bomb and Bean-O are in the OP. I also added a Video Section, more Airsoft guns will be added when I get back.

I'll post pictures of my loadout when I get my sling from EBairsoft.
