I'm pretty sure I've shot the body sculpting myth down before in here, but it needs to be said again: The type of training you do will not change how you look. You are dominated by your genetics. This is why I say over and over again that it's infinitely retarded that people think they can't get "aesthetic" without doing sets of 10-12 reps and 7 different exercises working the same muscle group and getting a pump, bro. The body sculpting aspect of bodybuilding is highly overstated. You can, to some degree, focus on certain areas more than others to elicit a specific image, but for the most part, you have a bigger muscle or a smaller muscle. That's it. If you ever see a before and after photo of yourself when you've made considerable progress, take some time and do a very detailed observation of yourself. You will likely notice that while you look very different, the actual shape and placement of your musculature hasn't changed, just the size.

Your not attacking nor supporting isolation purposes in your post your just saying that it doesnt matter whether you do compound or isolation excercises when it comes to the shape of your muscles since you can only make them bigger or smaller.
i think chances are youre thinking of muscle groups and not actual individual muscles bro
imo genetics play a huge role trust me i did an extensive research on this shit, i just left my result papers in the nuclear broscience lab

Genetics play a large role imo. case and point my friend tyrone, doens't know what he is doing, just benches everyday, terrible work ethic, bad diet, inconsistent ect. and yet he squats 500lbs atg and benches 405. Another kid has a good diet, excellent work ethic, knows what he's doing and lifts consistently, can barely bench 200lbs and isn't swole at all.

Black genetics thing is probably bullshit tbh There's genetic variance in any population, you just happen to notice genetic freaks/top end athletes and attribute it to them being black. e.g I don't think dave chapelle could get swole no matter how hard he tried.

It's pretty obvious that you can't change muscle inserts no matter how hard you train. Genetics also play a huge role in how quickly you make both strength and size gains, but lol, Dave Chapelle would be able to get swole if he trained well with a decent diet for a few years.

I started working out like 8 months ago (I was like 113 pounds 5'7"), i max 175 bench and 132 pounds 5'7.5". (I'm an arab and my dad is a huge dude) My friend started working out 2 years ago, and only maxes 155 right now, and is like 5'8" and 124 pounds and thinks he's buff as fuck. (He's one of those small indian dudes) imo genes count a fuckload
