Actually made it the day after Skyrim came out but hadn't gotten the horns on until last night. 16 gauge steel, plasma cut then hand formed, the horns are real Cow horns, I would have used a Bighorn Sheep but wasn't able to find a good pair that weren't extremely expensive. This one just blows all the other ones out of the water xD
It looks amazing, but if you're going for the game look you gotta grime it up! IF it's supposed to be pristine then it looks fucking amazing as is. Fantastic job I always enjoy your threads.
I had to brush off the dome to get rid of the heat coloration from when I welded on the horn tubes, but before it was pretty dark colored, won't take long for it to rust up again though. Not actually my helmet though, I made it for someone else and it fits me like a bucket. Some WIP pictures I forgot I had on my camera: I also have an original but non-functioning Martini Henry rifle coming on the 10th that I'm gonna be working on, see if I can get it working again. Little something to keep me busy while I wait for my Emu eggs to hatch on March 8th.
Do you have any pictures of the rifle? Try not to blow yourself up!
As soon as I saw it was you that made the thread I knew it was going to be incredible. Was not disappointed.
Do you have any pictures of the rifle? Try not to blow yourself up!
Not until Friday when it gets here.
i'm sorry, Emu eggs...!?
I'm on day 17, they're due sometime between March 9th and 11th. If they aren't infertile or damaged somehow, but they feel solid, means means the yolk isn't leaking, and they don't stink, which means they haven't gone rotten but a lot can happen between now and March, I got 33 days left. They're both nice heavy eggs though so I'm optimistic, heavy eggs tend to produce strong healthy chicks. Have to turn them by hand several times a day, being careful to turn them 180 degrees in opposite directions each time, also have to monitor the heat and humidity, and every Thursday I weigh them to see how much water they've lost and if I need to adjust the humidity, if they don't loose between 10 and 15% of their water by the time they hatch bad things can happen. This is what I have down right now:

Couldn't tell ya, but they're about 10-12 times the size of a chicken egg so it depends on how much you like eggs.

Blacksmith - Level 100.
Blacksmith - Level 100.
He's GMed blacksmith and probably item identification and I'm guessing 50-60 in birdsmith too. His animal lore and taming have to be pretty high as well, master at least.
RR_Raptor65, you always blow me away with your work. I remember some of your older threads showing off your other work. You do such an amazing job.
Nice, I love the beaten work of the metal. About how long did this take to make?
Jesus Christ why do you have so many awesome hobbies?
