that's a nice mongoose also any criticism for my pics? first "real" photos i've ever taken
Some of you guys should really get a camera. Even a point n' shoot will do.
that's a nice mongoose also any criticism for my pics? first "real" photos i've ever taken
They aren't good. Either they are shaky or the motives are really boring.
They aren't good. Either they are shaky or the motives are really boring.
Alright I don't know what you mean by motives and I don't see how these are shaky. Care to enlighten me?
It's not easy to tell which thing specifically is your subject in a lot of those. In those that I can tell, some parts may be obscured. There's also little sense of context in the last few, which really doesn't help. Also, the lighting in some of them is just plain painful, like the second to last one with what I think is a minigun feed chute?

The second is the hydraulic landing assembly for a B-52 bomber, and what inspired me to take a picture of it was how complicated the mechanics were; complicated to the point of looking like overgrowth from some strange metal plant. With the second, it's just a hallway from a Titan missile silo. I can tell how it'd be hard to see it as a hallway, so I probably only liked it because I new what it was. If I feel it necessary to post more photos, I'll be sure to add a little description. The third and fourth are pretty bad in retrospect. I rather like the lighting in the second to last one, but that's because I took the picture. The first and last are just shots of the airfield, a disassembled Sikorsky banana and some zebra car. Any tips on how I could improve?
taken with a temporary replacement 3.2mp phone it's Athens :D
Any tips on how I could improve?
I would suggest trying to tighten up on what you're trying to show to your audience. Try making whatever it is that you're taking the picture of, the center (not literally) of the photo with the surrounding objects supporting whatever that main object is.

Also, here's the rest of my photos. Considering these were all taken without me knowing jack shit about photography, I don't think they're worth embedding, but there may be a gem somewhere in there.

But what's the criteria for potential? Because I didn't really like the hipster filters I put on them, and those are the only two I did that with. Considering EVERY FUCKING PICTURE in this subforum has that filter, I feel I may be in the wrong place.
I dunno what Kirby likes about them but I like that the subject of each one is rather obvious.
I dunno what Kirby likes about them but I like that the subject of each one is rather obvious.
This. It's not the filter, it's that these two pictures my eyes have something to focus on.
Just saw AWOLNATION live. Twin Atlantic and Middle Class Rut also played. It was an awesome show (but not that great of a picture)
Had to install 51 Macs today (Final cut pro) so I decided to mess about with my Iphone: Photo's are edited on my phone, damn so much static! Also I found this 15(?) year old Pd150 perfectly working!
mind making the images a little smaller?
I have a huge amount of pics taken with my iPhone 4 and 4S at http://chase817.carbonmade.com/. Tell me if you like any of 'em. (Btw, some are heavily edited so don't hate if I went a little overboard on a few, haha.)
I do really like most of them but again: PLEASE, for the love of god, try not to apply a unnecessary filter on nearly every photo you take.
I do really like most of them but again: PLEASE, for the love of god, try not to apply a unnecessary filter on nearly every photo you take.
Thanks, most of them were taken a while ago and I couldn't find the originals to the crappy edited versions.
Another one:
iPhone 4s Camera isn't too shabby, and with some of the awesome apps you can get it's quite handy to have!
