Seems like V2 was automatically locked so here's V3. We were talking about cup holders. And I, have none.
Oh man, I killed V2. I made a post-ending thread. My life is complete. I'm going to ko kill myself now. [editline]2nd January 2012[/editline] Kidding of course. So today my mechanic had a vehicle torn apart in the garage right in the doorway so I had to turn away a job. Such is the life of an auto shop owner slash mechanic slash indie game developer. I don't know what I am anymore.
My "Cup holders": [t]http://i39.tinypic.com/zmnimb.jpg[/t] So i basically do what bradley does and either hold it or wedge it somewhere
My Focus has two cupholders c: My mustang has the flimsy p.o.s flipout though :/
My brothers vw passat has cup holders a lot like that, but they are further in, so the only thing that would 'fit' in them is a can, but then it wouldn't hold them, because they are only half an inch deep. On a side note, my brother is trying to sell his passat and rebuy a 6th gen honda accord coupe; With an i4, 5 speed.. His first car was a 2001 honda accord ex, with a v6 automatic. Someone pulled out in front of him and totaled it, so he thought he wanted to try something new, but he ended up hating his Volkswagen. It just feels like 'a car' to him, and not something he really feels passionate about or feels a connection with, and i am really excited that he is hopefully going to get a car that he feels that way about again. It would be fun to have my brother feel the same way about his car, as i do mine.
I don't have any cup holder's. All of mine are broke. If I did have any they would still be broken quickly. Stupid plastic! Were is Aftermarket Part's that are made out of metal when you need them.
My cup holders can only fit 12 oz cans.
I went JDM and got an air vent cupholder. It can hold small drinks and cans.. America has conditioned me to drink large amounts of drink out of large containers.
Talking about cupholders made me realize that I never actually drink anything while I'm driving.
Talking about cupholders made me realize that I never actually drink anything while I'm driving.
And this is why having absolutely none cupholders actually does not bother me the slightest :v:

My 'Prix cupholders are used as cannon, because if I put my cup in the passenger side, when I'll turn, it'll fly up the passenger window, and vise versa.
Why not another Golf or a Beetle? :v:
beetle, nah (i would but i like the really rat and lowered ones.. not daily driver..) Golf, yes but only GTI 16v but there are NONE good looking right now in the dk for sale..
I have.... 0 Cup holders, stock. Had to buy one of those center console thingy's which has two cup holders. (it sucks)
My Focus has two cup holders in the front, and one in the back. I can manage to squeeze some big cups in if I drive carefully!
I generally don't drink or eat in my car. I'd be pissed if I got something spilled on my mint CRX Si seats. :C I keep bottles of pop between my seat and center console though, pretty much the perfect spot to wedge a drink bottle.
fuck california someone point me to a car older than 26 years old that I can snag and experiment with motors and mods

[editline]2nd January 2012[/editline] Also bench seat.
fuck california someone point me to a car older than 26 years old that I can snag and experiment with motors and mods
old corollas datsun 510 and z cars fox body turd gens

The punto has a factory cup holder. Well it has 2. its pretty nice :p
My jetta has some flimsy mechanism that slides out of the center dash that resembles cupholders. Of course being a VW they're broken and probably have been since it rolled off the assembly line.

Justin, at the U pull and pay on broadway, there is an 86 rx7 with a brospeed exhaust tip (maybe muffler too?) with your name on it. [editline]jan 2 12[/editline] All of you with cupholders are lucky, I've got to hold drinks in my lap, 'cause of bench seats, and the designers not giving a shit
My ex girlfriend likes my truck :pervert: I asked if she wanted to drive it and she said 'I can't drive your black beauty today, maybe later ;)' :q: :q: :q:
I have finally found an official name for my moldsmobile. I shall call it the pacemaker.
So I was thinking of getting a car in the future, hopefully someone can give me advice on either getting a 87-93 Mustang 5.0 5spd or 85-92 Camaro with a 5spd. Any benefits, downsides, or what else to get?
I finally found a picture of an Mk1 Golf with fender mirrors I want to do that myself on my Golf but with chrome mirrors that'll look pretty much the same as that. The standard mirrors just feel way too close to me when I sit in it and I think it'll make it look more classic so, opinions?
