I fucking hate the cupholders in my car (89 supra). If I put a drink in it, it will be fucked when I accel or brake because the lid flip back closed on them. also prevent me from shifting
I finally found a picture of an Mk1 Golf with fender mirrors I want to do that myself on my Golf but with chrome mirrors that'll look pretty much the same as that. The standard mirrors just feel way too close to me when I sit in it and I think it'll make it look more classic so, opinions?
VW Panda
So I was thinking of getting a car in the future, hopefully someone can give me advice on either getting a 87-93 Mustang 5.0 5spd or 85-92 Camaro with a 5spd. Any benefits, downsides, or what else to get?
mustang mustang mustang so many parts so many things so much fun /mustang enthusiast my friends ex drove his 93 camaro into a guardrail at like 100mph though not even once
What do these have to do with eachother?
nothing but him talking about that generation of camaro reminded me and a tear fell
my rear cup holders dont really work since the center console hinge is fucked so it breaks if you load it and my front 2 are kinda fuckey, one is unusable if the car is in park since the gear shift angles over it. [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline] Oh yeah my friend *may* buy a mach 1 and restore it with his dad.

so I hung out with cyrus martinez today. he told me that unless i'm rich as fuck, that I should sell the 86 and snag a s13 (if I wanted to get into drifting) I think I might sell it to his shop and let them turn it into a drift missile, then buy a datsun 510 and make it my baby.
98 Honda Accord cup holders are deep enough to fit anything in them. The thing is though that your fucking drink rolls inbetween each cup holder cause of the gap that should seperate them is open. Put a redbull can and it goes back and forth and shit as im driving.

I just received a 2012 Chevy Camaro. it's p cool.

What a great way to start off the new year. Actually a can of whip cream exploded in my car while driving, not fun. It's actually pretty funny, I was laughing the whole time.
you came.
You know your fucked when you have 2" of wet snow, followed by an inch of ice underneath it and you have to drive up hills with RWD and no weight on the back.

I know on the firebirds of the 80s, only the 305s got 5 speeds but maybe for the camaros it was different, I dunno
But Inital D :<
which I why I can sell it for more than it's worth and get a datsun 510 and fuck a bitch in it woop
My miata's cup holders are alright except that the cups would be exactly where my arm is to shift.
Argh, the clear coat and the uppermost layer of paint on my car is starting to bubble up / flake off on my hood and bumper. I had adhesive tape (tan type, forgot the name) around my headlights as I was polishing them off, and when I was slowly pulling off the tape from the top of the bumper right below the headlight, a thin strip of paint came off. The clear coat seems to be flaking off on the bumper and graying out on the hood as well What is a good way to protect the paint from doing that, besides repainting the whole thing?

I have next to no way of having a drink in my truck, I don't think it would stay on the floor for long, my dash is angled, my glove compartment opens up at a 45 or so degree angle, the center hump is slippery and rounded and I have a bench seat. I wish I could find a set of bucket seats for my truck but they are impossible to find :(
So I learned the Torino doesn't run. Oh well! Another car that I won't get.
which I why I can sell it for more than it's worth and get a datsun 510 and fuck a bitch in it woop
so i wont have an ae86 bro when i finally get it? :(
I don't know if it has happened with time or if this forum helped (probably both) but my views on cars have broadened immensely. I remember when I was about 14, all I loved was American and V8, that hasn't changed at all except that at the time I absolutely despised anything japanese and lower than 8 cylinders; European cars I had no opinion on. Throughout the time I have been here my views on what makes a cool car and attractive body styling have swayed and I've seen many new things, I had such a bad opinion on Jap cars that the only things I knew about them were the brand names. Here I am now, googling 4 cylinder facts and RWD 80s cars, everything is so cool, for pete sakes I was on kijiji 10 minutes ago NOT search Dodge Rams. For example, 2 years ago I would have absolutely hated this http://alberta.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1982-Toyota-Supra-P-Type-Hatchback-W0QQAdIdZ338247607 Now I can't step away from google looking at cars like this, same goes for a golf or a civic.
I still like mostly just American V8 and what not but I'd buy an 80s Supra and I actually like German cars a lot. Anyway, my car is making a howling wind noise. It sounds like it's coming from the main steel fan and last time it did this, my power steering pump almost broke my serptine belt. What is it?
