Heh the hot chick standing in for Metric - black sheep sings their song better than the real lead singer does. Did I mention she's hot? Yeah she's hot.
it's autotuned
Protip: so is 99% of music on the market today. Infact, very rarely will you find a mainstream artist who doesn't post edit their music and autotune. The chick is a singer herself, so even without the autotune her inflection is different to that of metric.
My little sister went to watch this movie with her friends. I expected her to watch The Social Network or something since most games she plays is the Kingdom Hearts series and those casual games on Wii and Facebook. And she enjoyed it. A lot. I was surprised. From what she told me about the movie I think I need to buy this. Is it available for purchase in Finland yet?
it's autotuned
Brie Larson is in a band. (Envys actor) and she doesn't auto tune if she does it's really hard to hear.
I don't get why everyone is hating on Michael Cera. He's a fucking great actor, it's just that usually casters and directors he end up with give him stupid roles and awful character + dialogue. If anything, Michael Cera was the only one who could be Scott Pilgrim, and he did a damn good job at it.
I just hate his pairing with awkward roles
Brie Larson is in a band. (Envys actor) and she doesn't auto tune if she does it's really hard to hear.
She really, really doesn't. Her performance doesn't sound even remotely enhanced. [editline]23rd November 2010[/editline]
it's autotuned
The album version is put into a filter, I think. But the movie's? Not even close.
When she starts singing the first four lyrics, it definently sounds autotuned.
Are you talking about the album, or the movie? If it's the latter, we must've seen different movies.
The Album version is the Metric version
I was a bit disappointed with the movie, the sets and CGI was done well, but it just left this unsatisfying feeling at the end.
I sincerely don't know if I wanna watch it. I loved the comics, don't know if I wanna have the risk of being disappointed. What did you guys think?
I sincerely don't know if I wanna watch it. I loved the comics, don't know if I wanna have the risk of being disappointed. What did you guys think?
That was my worry, but I'm glad I saw it. It's a good experience.
I was a bit disappointed with the movie, the sets and CGI was done well, but it just left this unsatisfying feeling at the end.
It could have been much worse. The alternate ending pretty much invalidates the entire rest of the film.
:downs:
Haha, just saw it, thanks for correcting.
I sincerely don't know if I wanna watch it. I loved the comics, don't know if I wanna have the risk of being disappointed. What did you guys think?
the only problem is that they wrote the script before o'malley finished the last volume, so it kinda goes "fuck" all over you at the end. but otherwise it's still great to watch.
Just got the Level Up! Collectors Edition in the mail yesterday! :D
The Album version is the Metric version
There's an extra track which contains the clash at demonhead version heard in film.
There's an extra track which contains the clash at demonhead version heard in film.
Is there? Every soundtrack I've seen only has the Metric version, including the ones with the bonus songs (which are just Beck's version of the Sex Bob-omb songs).
There's an extra track which contains the clash at demonhead version heard in film.
That's not true, I have the album and it didn't include the clash at demonhead version
Watching it now, really have no idea what to expect.
Watching it now, really have no idea what to expect.
Expect it to be the shittiest piece of shit ever created.
Expect it to be the shittiest piece of shit ever created.
Pessimism is always the best attitude. Pre-ordered the blu-ray. December 26th, hurry your slow ass up goddammit!
