Hey guys did you know? Before each evil ex-boyfriend battle, there's a number somewhere in the scene, like before the first battle, there's the number 1, but I forgot where it appears. Number 2 is on the evil ex's trailer, the 3 is on the garbage bins in the alley, 4 is in the club name, 5 and 6 apparently appear by the twins cranking the volume up to 11 (5+6), and number 7 is the final level in the building where he fights.
the 11 wasn't a Spinal Tap reference?
yeah I'm pretty sure that the 11 was for Spinal Tap, not because 11=5+6. That would just be dumb.
Or it could be both. You'd think they'd find a 5 or 6 somewhere else if that wasn't the case...

Re-watched this with an 11 year old last night. He got more of the references his first time than I did my second time. I felt like a dumbass when I went OH HER NAME IS KNIVES AND SHE USES KNIVES.

Also I learned Garbage Truck on bass. Oh, and I broke up with my clingy schoolgirl like girlfriend for this girl with pink hair, picked up bass on ebay to switch from guitar. I had never heard of scott pilgrim Then the movie trailer comes on :tinfoil:
I just hate his pairing with awkward roles
i wish you fuckers would stop whining about this. michael cera is a funny actor, youd know why hes like this if you watched arrested development. its his destined role and he does it really well
Did you date a famous person
I dated someone who's heavy into local bands, maybe not the lead singer of one but pretty close
Do you have a gay roommate?
Nope.
Are you 22?
16 I listed out all the similarities to my life the above post. It's really not that weird for someone to play bass and have an interest in video games and date girls with strange hair color.
Another movie about Michael Cera being awkward and at the end he loses his virginity for the 500th time. Oh, but this time he fights some people. With some unneeded comic book effects thrown in. Whoop dee doo.
And he needs a sacarstic hater to do so.
yeah I'm pretty sure that the 11 was for Spinal Tap, not because 11=5+6. That would just be dumb.
Why not? Everyone else has some obscure reference to their name during their battle, it could easily be a reference to both.
Woo, just got the DVD. Plan to watch all the special features and then watch the movie itself. And thank God, the case didn't have those annoying sticker they put on the side that always leaves glue residue.
You can get that off with lighter fluid you know
Not everyone has lighter fluid lying around, and it's not really worth buying if it's just going to be used to get the residue off DVD cases :v: much better when the cases don't have stickers on them in the first place.
God dammit, I don't have a blu-ray player so I had to get the normal DVD and appearantly it doesn't have as many bonus features as the blu-ray. I want to see the special features really really badly. :saddowns:
