Hey there fellow facepunchers, I would like some help finding a cheap G3. I have a of about 144 USD, I live in sweden so it needs to be some sort of international site :) I currently have a g36c, which I am planning on selling so I buy myself a G3. The reason I want a G3 is because it is the closest thing I can come to the swedish ak4 which is a modified G3 :D http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heckler_&_Koch_G3 A black version is preferred instead of the green one but the grean one will do just fine (I can repaint)
JG G3SG1, bipod and check rest are removable. http://rsov.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=2001 JG G3A3 with OD furniture http://rsov.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=2223
I was looking for one of these because I think they look cool. But then I realised that there are few of them on american sites that are in my preferable price range. Fucking christmas come faster.
I wish i could find one with wood furniture. That'd be awesome.

My friend bought wood furniture for a real G3 and was able to make it fit on his CA, with a lot of work of course. It looked great in the end, better than that picture. The parts were only $20 too. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MGR280-1.html Sold out though.

Wood G3s are the God of all G3s. But I would rather have a black one, than one of those OD ones.
G3's aren't a very popular gun so they're more expensive. I'd get the extra money and buy the Classic Army full metal one. Very nice. I can't wait to get it.
Only downside I've seen to the CA G3's are the stocks. They tend to snap at the body pins, seen it happen on the field at least 3 times, all being CA G3's.
If you could rewire the CA G3 it wouldn't be bad at all. That was my first airsoft gun. The first stream of bb's out of the thing shredded a beer bottle. I always wanted to get the collapsing stock (to help get past the weak CA stock issue) then the RIS rail for the front and just re-wire it to have the battery up front. I figure with this and a bi-pod, fore-grip, and a decent ACOG on top would make for a pretty awesome looking and shooting gun. Combine that with the planned internal upgrades to help accuracy and distance and i was thrilled. Sadly, i ran into financial troubles and had to sell it. I would still love to put that dream gun together someday.

Was that bump necessary?
No. Why does every "new" FP'er need to constantly bump old threads? GD had that happen today, because of some new asshole. If the threads old, let it die. Please.
No. Why does every "new" FP'er need to constantly bump old threads? GD had that happen today, because of some new asshole. If the threads old, let it die. Please.
But then you get attacked for making a new thread. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. At least this requires less effort.
You don't get attacked for making a new one. If it's a review or for an OP, then yeah, post it. But we have threads for questions and what you're going to buy, etc. It's just people being lazy and not reading.
I agree, this is a bad example, but I've seen this happen before.
But then you get attacked for making a new thread. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. At least this requires less effort.
The bump was unnecessary and also completely irrelevant now that the thread was over and done.
