Just a thought, after reading up on the nasties found in the ugliest car thread. I'll start. The 2011 Proton Savvy. That large centre console screen is a non-Proton related modification I assure you.
The Proton Saga interior. Bluegh!

I just think ford could have been space conscious and designed it to have a lot of storage space and still comfortably seat 5-7 [editline]28th November 2011[/editline] Ford Expedition
I remember when I was looking for my second car I looked at a Fiat Punto, I can't remember the year otherwise I'd have provided a pic, but jesus fuck it was terrible...grey plastic everywhere
2001 Jeep Cherokee Dat steering wheel I love the old interior that I have but the newer one is just horrible
I nominate my car interior (1999 Ford Contour, aka 1999 Ford Mondeo with a different rear end): The buttons and controls are in comfortable locations, but everything else is just slapped in. The cupholders are physically incapable of holding onto a drink in motion - accelerate at all, and the cups nosedive into the carpets or gear lever. The radio positioned directly above the cupholders prevents you from putting anything large in them as well. The storage bin by the handbrake is useless because if you put anything it you can't use the handbrake. The center console AC storage and cupholder storage bins are shallow - the only thing I can put in the cupholder storage bin is a small bottle of hand sanitizer. The arm-rest storage can fit about 6 CDs and nothing else, and there is one cup holder for the rear seats - which can't even fit a water bottle because it has these weird groove things in it. The ceiling light is in the direct center of the car, so your body blocks most of the light in the front seat, and in the rear sets, the light gets blocked by the front seats. Also, the air vents are incapable of pointing at the driver unless you're a 7 foot tall basketball player with the seat pushed back.
What is that? The interior looks Ford Mondeo derived. Ahh, scratch that. Never saw the top row of text.
Cant stand early to mid 2000's GM interiors.

Chevrolet S-10 1995-2004(94's were round but came with oldstyle interior) WTH is with that ugly ass handle? Isn't that supposed to be on the ceiling?
At least now, senior citizens can actually see that they're going 10mph under the speed limit ;)

Awful memories.
Ford and their obsession with ovals in the 90's. Anyhow, on my Escort the cup holders are sort of poorly placed. They are right next to the gear selector, and the radio area bulges out slightly. So if you have a medium sized cup or something, it is quite literally trapped if you have the car in park. Also because of the radio bulge, the cups sit slightly off if its a large cup. At least 16 oz bottles sit fine. And the rear cupholder (just the one) is essentially useless it can't even hold a small styrofoam cup full of water while the car is in motion because its too shallow.

I like the Cooper and the Fiat! :v

Owned an Explorer before that, never did get to try the excursion though, it was a bit TOO big..That expedition looks like the size of the old explorers though, our expedition looked and felt a bit bigger than that...Maybe they downsized the new ones. Ours was like...2005-6 i think.

It doesnt help that my girlfriends dad is 300 lbs and her mom is 240ish so the front 2 seats are all the way back. And yeah, Demache is right, they pretty much bulked up the front end and removed almost all of the rear storage without having to put the back seats down.
It looks clean but there is zero room, I'm 5'7" and there is NO ROOM to move, I can't even have a hat on my head.
You think that's bad, My rx-7 is like sitting in a fucking cockpit, i can barely move my feet around to maneuver the clutch brake and gas pedals and my head hits the roof every time i go over a bump. Fun as fuck to drive though.
This should've been like a general car interior discussion topic instead 'Cause I love my interior: [t]http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/233/1801/38080900005_large.jpg[/t]

Fun as fuck to drive though.
My CRX Si is the same way. I'm 5'10" and my head grazes the roof a bit, in places. But that's because it's an Si, I've lost ~3" of headroom for the sunroof's electrics and hardware. Other than that I have no complaints. Comfortable seats, tasteful interior, plenty of pockets for stuff. Only gripe is no cupholders, but any EF/EE (or EG) owner will refer to the space between the seat and console as the "cupholder", as it holds a 20oz bottle really well. :) In the back of my 'Rex theres tons of room. It's like a very small truck. But that's because it's a two seater with nothing going on in the boot. [editline]29th November 2011[/editline]
5000 RPM redline. Right, my car. Where do I start? Well, I could start with the cheap, hard plastic. There are a few spots that rattle when I drive, even though the car is in rather good shape. Still, it's not as bad as some interiors as far as material quality goes. The place where it fails is layout, starting with the cup-holders. One is where the handbreak ought to be, and the other is to the left of the steering wheel. Having a cup holder to the left of the steering wheel is a great convenience, especially when you want to use your turn signal, turn on your foglights, or turn left. In addition, the cupholders are shallow and completely incapable of holding up and cup I've ever used. Also, remember where I said the cupholder was where the handbreak should be? Well that means I got a parking break pedal rather than a handbreak (not only can I not do handbreak turns hella tyte, but it intrudes on left foot resting space). Speaking of uncomfortable, using the AC/heat controls while the car is in park requires some finger gymanstics. All in all, it could be worse, but it's pretty fucking stupid. I stepped in the car and thought to myself "well, this is why GM got that bailout". It may seem like nitpicking, but compared to my Camry's interior, it's rather poorly organized.
i have never seen an interior i found aesthetically unpleasing
Am I the only person that thinks the Impreza's interior has gone way downhill since 2006?

The interior itself isn't bad, but for a 40k car. Yeah, I think it is. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Vbzbk.jpg[/t]

That dash seems to have a tumor.
I kind of see a face in there. The middle vents are the eyes, the black part with the temperature knobs is the mouth and the carpet that goes up the mid console on the passenger side looks like drool I got too little time now to draw it
