If I could find a Bokken which was basically a Katana only with a wooden blade, that'd be fine and preferable. It's just decoration anyway, but badass regardless.
Cold steel makes a rubber bokken that is relatively safe. http://www.coldsteel.com/bokkens.html And they now sell a short tanto bokken which I JUST might buy as my combat knife.
http://www.botachtactical.com/cost92obo.html I was going to buy a training knife from there too. I don't know about the site though, I just did a quick skim of google and it seems half and half, either great service or never shipped. http://www.amazon.com/Cold-Steel-Bokken-Md-92bkl/dp/B001S88V72 http://dealerscorner.coldsteel.com/Products/92BKL/ http://www.knivesplus.com/coldsteelbokkencs-92bkl.html Same product. Up to you where to buy from though. I'd buy from Amazon, but do confirm that I'm not infact retarded and that's a Bokken. No it's not made of wood, but this could be good and bad right? [editline]08:22PM[/editline] Holy shit...ninja'd.
I wonder if I can find a sheath for them.
Good luck on that one...
I wonder if I can find a sheath for them.
MOLLE webbing.
MOLLE webbing.
This.
I was kinda going to put together a Japanese Officer Loadout from WW2, it isn't all that hard, the uniform isn't camo so it's pretty simplistic to track down a look-alike. The hat or helmet will be the hardest, as will a proper rifle. (I don't think anyone makes an airsoft Arisaka so I'll have to find a carbine or something)

Also the japanese had a M1 Carbine look-alike. Perhaps you could get a M1 then modify it a little? Would suck to be limited to those 8 round mags though. [editline]04:06AM[/editline] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_5_Rifle
I don't care about Mag size, I don't even know what my motivation for the loadout is because I'm not aware of many Pacific Reinactments in New York State so I guess it's purely for my own amusement.

I suggest getting anything bolt action, you could modify a sten, or something along those lines M1 garand uses en-bloc clips, not mags
Tanaka makes a type 99, not cheap. But you still load it using clips, and that's what you need to buy to use the M1 Garand. He also said they had a look-alike of the M1 Carbine, which did use mags and had a 10 or 15 bullet capacity.
Yes, but it used two stripper clips to load it. Either way, modifying the m1 garand THAT much without professional help would be extremely complicated, i'm thinking he could just change the sights and call it a day on that one.
I wonder if I can find a sheath for them.
Use electrical shrink wrap and a blow-dryer. Buddy of mine did this when we took weapons training for the Jo and the Bokken, works like a charm.
stop getting banned.
That was my face when I read the post above me and a bit before that.
Why dont you buy a Marushin Nambu? An officer would be more likely to have one of those than an experimental rifle.
What the Fuck.
What the Fuck.
Rage.
What the Fuck.
:bang: And it's really pretty obvious how to dress up like ghost... If you need a guide you must have severe vision problems.
You think thats bad. The guy on the irish cover looks like he is too busy playing MW2 to even realise he's playing airsoft.

I was thinking of getting one of those skull bandana's before MW2 came out but now that they ruined that I'll stick with my camo one.
omg I hate anyone wearing one of those skull masks at airsoft games
Army of Two masks are p. cool though.
Army of Two masks are p. cool though.
Yeah they look pretty sweet. Not to mention that they're begging for a custom paintjob :slick:
What type of paint should I use to paint my paintball mask? Krylon? Anyone also have some guides or something on painting camo?
omg I hate anyone wearing one of those skull masks at airsoft games
I think they're really cool looking, but that's probably because I don't hate COD like most everyone else. Sure it's a little overrated but it's still awesome, can't see anything wrong with wearing a skull balaclava if they were thought up long before COD, not only the airsoft product but real life soldiers, who probably made it themselves.
Yeah they look pretty sweet. Not to mention that they're begging for a custom paintjob :slick:
I'll have to take some pictures of my local field's owner's mask, he painted it.
I get to bring my 530 Lumen spot light to a match on Sunday. The match goes until 9, so I won't be able to use it for all that long, but it will be awesome. We were going to get a 2300 Lumen spotlight, but didn't have a battery, you plugged it into your car.

What I think of when seeing people wearing the ASGI or Ebaybanned balaclavas are guys trying to look like a character from a video game which is cosplay, which I find very annoying and stupid.
