Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I found out about these guys a while ago. Definitely the only good punk band that's been around in a long time. It's a shame they aren't more popular. And their lead guitarist looks like Muscles Glasses from Epic Meal Time. And for added awesome:
Bad Religion <3 haha they're so old now "I bought suffer, then i bought a thesaurus" :v:
against the grain and everything after is balls
some of their 90's and 00's stuff is questionable, yes but you forgot about Generator which is fucking good
I still like Against the Grain :v:
Are we still not allowed to post Post-Hardcore here? Cause if not:

I apologize if it isn't your cup of tea but regardless of wether you like it or not it still fits into the hardcore genre. If you're going to make a megathread for an entire huge genre you can't pick and choose what bands can be posted.
It's not hardcore fffffffffffff [editline]29th January 2012[/editline] or even punk [editline]29th January 2012[/editline] but I do like Thursday

It's for hardcore. what you posted in fact DOESN'T fit into hardcore! Funny how that works. Its a megathread, its good to have a mix of different kinds of hardcore.
post hardcore isn't hardcore
Post Hardcore

Post Hard

Post

Post
It's it's own thing. It doesn't look or sound anything like hardcore/punk. You trollin?
BAD fucking BRAINS!!! I love them. Also minor threat, black flag, adolescents, 7 seconds, etc. I got a shirt for all of those but the last two. I also love devo, I consider their early albums punk, definitely not hardcore, more like 80's industrial synth-post-punk.
I fucking love the Refused, what do you guys think of them?
I like it, question though: in the first video, was that a shower spitting fire in the background? Pretty badass. Also the furfags at the beginning of the second video scared the hell out of me.
post hardcore isn't hardcore It's it's own thing. It doesn't look or sound anything like hardcore/punk. You trollin?
Its a sub-genre of hardcore, therefore it fits.
"hardcore" isn't a genre lol get out you dolt.
Its a sub-genre of hardcore, therefore it fits.
Except it's not a sub-genre. A sub-genre means that it still contains elements of the original genre. Death metal is a sub-genre. Psychedelic rock is a sub-genre. They contains elements of the music that inspired it. Dance Gavin Dance and Thursday don't really borrow much from hardcore punk. Maybe the yelling vocals in Thursday? That's all I can really think of. It's too moody and heartfelt to be hardcore, much less punk. Hardcore is more or less just an adjective to describe the sound of the music. There's hardcore hip-hop, there's hardcore metal, hardcore rock (hard rock), it goes on. It's just to tell the listener that what they're about to hear is probably really aggressive or angry. Lots of bands also just use it to make themselves sound cooler. That's always been what's bugged me about genres. You can just make em up these days and people will buy it like it's actually a new sound. Every week I hear some news site or read a post somewhere about some bullshit like "ambient djentcore" or "progressive emo-hop". What's so wrong with just "metal" and "hip-hop"?

Why cant we just allow it to be posted in this thread just so people can post and discuss it without needing to make another thread, eh?
Using the mule defense I see...
