-fuck, ninja, by 12 hours too. :/-
I love 'meeting' people by riding around. Like the other day it was so nice out and I was just riding around aimlessly. And I ended up behind this guy and he waved me to come up next to him and we had a chat and just ended up riding around. It was a lot of fun and I don't even know the guys name. But that's one of my favorite thing about motorcyclist is that generally all of us are extremely friendly to our own. Once my bike wouldn't start and I pulled over on the side of the road and several bikers pulled over to ask if I needed anything and one even got his truck with a trailer and helped me get back to my girlfriend's house. It was really awesome.
Yeah that's true, and you pretty much wave or nod at everyone on a bike who approaches in the opposite direction. Don't bother doing it for the bikies though, they just give you the look that they want to beat the shit of you and steal your bike once they're done. I would wave to the scooters but i'm too busy laughing my head off. I once saw a guy with full racing leathers on riding a scooter, fuck it looked funny.
I wave to everyone on a two wheel motorized vehicle. Although this one time there was a guy on a bicycle that waved at me and I wasn't sure he understood why motorcyclist wave at eachother.
That was probably a "hey I want to have a motorcycle one day too!" wave in which case I would've responded with a nod.
The other week my mum saw a guy in full riding gear, wearing a small pink Dora the Explorer backpack...on a bicycle. I love how friendly most bikers are. Especially when I'm on my enduro, it's not uncommon at all for people to give me a nod, say "Nice bike" or start talking to me about their bikes/riding adventures when I'm filling up with fuel or something. bikes4lyf
The best part about owning a vespa is, if you see one parked by a restaurant, park next to it, look for the owner and sit down with him. Chances are you are going to get free lunch.
or gay sex
I was gonna comment on how they would buy you free lunch to get in your pants but Ollih beat me to it.
Homosexuality is illegal here :v: but seriously though, the riders here do not like it if you ignore them at a restaurant or something especially the veteran riders.
My mother wanted a pic of my bike on her facebook before i leave for a ride, ill leave it here anyway.

my friend used to ride his scooter quite fast in corners, it looked kinda cool at night when sparks were coming off his stand
FUCK THIS BIKE Finally had the urge today to put my GS500 back together. Almost done, head on, timed the cams and everything to spec. Get everything back together and go to put the oil filter cap back on after replacing the filter and bam! the thread stripped on one of the nuts. Not a hard fix, but fuck if I just want to ride my bike instead of fixing it.
Hey guys, I currently dont own a bike but am interested in learning to ride, and own one. What are good starter bikes. I dont need one that goes 100mph. But I dont want a dirtbike.
How tall r u. What u weight. I liked my shadow 600. It is a great starter bike. Tops out at about 95mph. The throttle isn't jerky. And get 54-60 mpg driving spirited. U have to find a bike that fits u or was free like mine. I'm 6'2" 250lbs.
Ninja 250? Suzuki SV 650?
i would like a sv 650 i found my knees weree above the dish in the tank for your knees, i fit better on the 650 ninja but i do like the versies (sp?) well first bike always buy used. go sit on a few get the feel.
I'll throw in my two cents and say both a GS500 and Ninja 500 (EX500, I believe) are also great beginner bikes. A good deal more power than 250s (the Ninja 650 and 500 are very close power wise) but very lenient on throttle twists.
[pictures]
Thought that was a piston, reminded me of my NSR :p The funny thing is, it didn't even weld itself into the cylinder. I felt that my beloved started losing power and went to get some gasoline and when I tried to start it, nothing. Oh well, it's fixed now!

I got the front wheel up on my friend's 599 yesterday. Was gunning it over the top of a hill going down and next thing I know it climbs and climbs. Was scary as shit, but I felt like a badass because there was a line of cars next to me. But I don't want to do it again any time soon. At least until it's on my own bike and I know I'm intending on doing it, because yesterday's was unintentional.
Sounds like the countershaft is leaking, gonna have to change the seal, oring and bushing then it should be fine.
Does anyone else ever get a really nice feeling when someone else parks their motorcycle in the same parking slot as you do? /bump
Does anyone else ever get a really nice feeling when someone else parks their motorcycle in the same parking slot as you do? /bump
i usually park diagonally in a spot. so it can be seen better. hit a bird yesterday with my left fork, first time i hit a bird. killed it.
hit a bird yesterday with my left fork, first time i hit a bird. killed it.
I hit a seagull once with my scooter. It was kinda absurd, never would have thought you could actually hit a flying bird with something so small and something so slow :p
