Very. You could have gotten an iMAX charger that's 10 times better for the same price. Although those batteries are solid I have like 6 of them. As long as you take care of them. [editline]1st February 2012[/editline] for example: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__7386__GT_A_6_10_200W_Balance_charger_discharger.html [editline]1st February 2012[/editline] wate my bad for anybody serious looking for a charger get this instead, the other one requires a power supply which most RC enthusiasts have. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__6478__IMAX_B6_AC_Charger_Discharger_1_6_Cells_GENUINE_.html
Fuck. Also, I just realized the battery is NiMH. I've heard you need to discharge them before recharging. How would I go about that?
KWA is really slow. http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=37600 China beat them.
nicads are the ones that need to be discharged i believe bro
nicads are the ones that need to be discharged i believe bro
Oh fuck. The battery that came with my gun is a NiCad.

no no no over draining any battery is bad. Also over charging is bad. This is what intellect recommends, http://intellect-battery.com/06-rc-battery-handling/06-index.htm It's the second section. Different manufactures have different charging instructions. I have a pack of cells that can be charged at 6 amps for example. Dont let the pack drop bellow 8.0 volts, Or leave a 10% charge. Also if you charge it too slow it'll build a memory. The memory problem is far more pronounced in NiCD. For the most part you dont have to worry about memory in NiMH, and you dont have to worry about anything for Lipo.

Improper charging and use can cause crystals to build up that reduce the capacity and drain rate. There's ways to shock the pack out of a memory but that's pretty advanced stuff.
What the heck is memory?
Batteries get used to the charge they're at, and then are more resistant to both charging and discharge, if I recall correctly.

Another stupid question - Silencers in airsoft obviously aren't silencers , but are they there just to add to barrel length , and hopefully , velocity & accuracy?
No, just a cool factor really. Unless you extend the inner barrel. They can modify the sound some, depending on their shape and if they have foam.
Yeah, silencers are usually used to extend the outer barrel, in order to accomodate a longer inner barrel. Some do change the sound a bit, but other than that, they're purely aesthetic.
Silencers are illegal unless permanently attached to the gun. Like a real silencer. For airsoft. It's stupid I know but barrel extensions/mock silencers are fine.
I knew a guy who brought a gun with a suppressor/barrel extension mounted. He removed it after test-firing the gun and said it was sending bbs all over the place. Needless to say, I don't plan on getting one anytime soon.
Propably there was too much length between the end of the supressor+barrel extension and the actual inner barrel muzzle. The BB may just bounce inside of it and go bad.

Does it come in woodland brown or any sort of darker colour?
In the US you have to watch out for silencers that can muffle some sound. People have gotten jail sentences for having airgun silencers that happened to work on a real gun. Most silencers will have a US version with no foam and no way to insert foam.
So ebay tore my auction down since they follow california gun laws which means nothing that can even fit an assault rifle or any part of one can't be sold. So i broke california law 21 times over. Anyway I have to sell them indivudual so I'm going to post them here on FP discounted for you guys. Anywhere else will be more. To prevent faggots from trying to haggle or register here quickly I'm setting it to the only FP Airsofters to get discount are ones that I know contribute or are long standing members with the FP Airsoft community. By discount I'm talking 30-40$ a stock plus shipping. Original USMC M14 stocks for around 50$ fucking bucks each.

If I still had my WE M14 I would have bought one from you. Got to handle the S&T Tavor today. Not impressed. Plastic just feels cheap, texture seems over done. Some parts are made of that glossy plastic too. The whole gun is just too damn light, feels like an LPEG. The top optics rail and other components on the top are all made of plastic, and they wobble way too much. Seriously, that rail probably had 3-5mm of side to side wobble, making it horrible for mounting any optic and maintaining a zero. Gearbox is definitely plastic/polymer. Upon pulling back the charging handle and locking the bolt back (yeah it works surprisingly) I could clearly see translucent plastic along with a red cylinder. I asked if they knew what version gearbox it was but they didn't know. Didn't get a chance to test fire it, was sort of busy when I was there, didn't want to hassle them more than I had to. Honestly, skip on this gun, even for a wall hanger it doesn't look that good.
I'll sell my current TAR21 and sit on the money until ARES comes out with the short barrel variant or someone is willing to sell me the original production.
