Taken Friday before last iirc, at sections. I'm new so I'm pretty shitty and not too graceful, but this is one of the better photos. I don't really have a ton of me running though.
Dont clench your fists when you run.
why
why
tensing uses energy that could better be saved for running. ie keep relaxed.
nobody said he was clenching though. I barely need to put out strength to close my fist.
Yeah I don't usually clench. I don't think I was but I might have been since I was around 600m from the finish.
Yeah I don't usually clench. It can also cause cramps when you run for a long time.
XC Runner here: 17:47 5k i mainly run the 400IH but i like to run long distances [editline]31st October 2011[/editline]
Taken Friday before last iirc, at sections. Your running form should be adjusted better for more efficient use of energy. It looks good with everything except your arms. What is wrong with that form is that: 1. your arms are not moving forward, they are moving side to side 2. your arms are hanging in front of you, effectively being weights than being more efficiently used in conjunction with your stride. How to fix this: 1. make sure your arms maintain a forward momentum rather than your arms moving from side to side. 2. Your arms are being weights, pretty self-explanatory. Instead of having them be useless weights, utilize your arms to move forward
Yeah I need to work on it, near the end of the race my form starts to break down a bit, but usually I think I'm ok.
