I love the last one, but if there's any way to turn off the light on the alarm clock, you should try to hold it steady, turn it off, and throw it off frame. Then the time would be floating with no trail, could look pretty damn cool.
Interesting idea, but it could be executed better. Im thinking something similar to the last shot, with the flash moved off camera and the camera on a tripod for the exposure of the time. I sort of want to do it now.
Haha yeah that's why I said it was juvinile. I couldn't sleep at all two nights ago. I saw my camera next to my bed after laying down for an hour, and went nuts. I definitely want to execute this better. [editline]21st February 2012[/editline] But none of these are "random camera moving". I would have an idea in my head, and I'd try to execute it. Could have done better though. It came out shitty, so I didn't upload it.

Film is far far far more rounded in it's response curves. in the shadows you can pull out subtle details that wouldn't even register on digital and in the highlights it 'rounds off' leaving you with beautiful, fragile tones to play with (see: cloud photos on film).

The subject is just a little too far to the left for me, but at least he's looking into the frame so he's not lost or falling off. Overall, a decent photo.
@ctlilc The last one caught my attention, interesting to say the least. The vibrations could be from a slight breeze? Depends on how quality your tripod is. Could also be when you press the shutter, where you might actually be moving the camera a tad-bit as you press the shutter. Spending good amounts on a tripod is worth it, if you have weak basic models they aren't really sturdy. And some would even question putting their thousands of dollar equipment at risk with one.
New photos up!
Hmm first time taking some photos outside of the house. I noticed that even when I use a tripod the images get shaky sometimes when i have a 15-30 second exposure. Is that normal?
Weigh down the bottom of your tripod, this will reduce the Center of gravity making it less affected by the wind. Also put the shutter on a timer, to give you time to step away from the camera and any vibrations to settle before the shutter opens.
