First of all, despite the second grade graphics, this is a pretty serious interactive game so I do not accept "Run around naked!!" commands. Here are the three characters which you can choose from:
Edgar James White Time: 1876 Age: 39 After unsuccesful try at farming near Cheyenne, Edgar will follow many others and try travel to Black Hills and strike the gold. Notes: A former Yankee general and still acts like one.

Evan Smith Year: 1871 Age: 22 Silver City, New Mexico Raised without a father, Evan finds outlaws fascinating and tries hard to be one.

George Johnson Year: 1869 Age: 42 Kingston, Missouri George Johnson, a father of three children, is a farmer. That's going to change when Jesse James steps in.
Choose the character and lets get started!
I vote Evan Smith
Edgar.
By the way, If the character you vote dies at some point, we'll vote for the next one!
George Johnson, by far.
John Georgeson
Seven hours left to vote.
George Johnson. This looks awesome. (:
The Wild West didn't really exist after the Reconstruction Era, FYI. The Homestead and Pacific Railroad acts in 1862 pretty much obliterated its lawlessness. Though the most famous outlaws reigned during the late 70's and early 80's, they were mostly the last of their kind. The era of Desperados, Bandidos and American Outlaws was mostly prior to the Mexican-American War and the annexation of Texas. Banditry was very, very rare from 1850 onwards. Captain Buzzkill or not, might want to go with a more 1830's-50's route, prior to the US' acquisition of Texas and during the cross-migration between Mexican and American territories.

Wild west or not. [editline]2nd May 2012[/editline] Three hours left to decide, got some other things to do.
George Johnson it is. Like any other family in east Missouri, George has three lovely children and a wife. He has a small field of wheat and a pork. The Johnson family holds seven horses, six of which are for sale due to lack of food. For months, the Johnson family has lived at the expense of their neighbour, Buck, who is Georges cousin. It's November 28th now and Buck can't spare anything anymore to the Johnson family. (George himself didn't go to beg. He couldn't stand the fact that he cant provide for his own family.) Your children are aged five, seven and thirteen. All of them are girls. You have some relatives in Chicago, which lies 460 miles north. What you don't have, is a working cart, one of its wheels is broken. Still.. Something has to be done.
sooo what are the options?
I thought that it'd be more interesting without them. Here they are: > Try to fix the wheel. > Send your wife and children to Chicago. They'll find a way eventually. > Go look for jobs in the town. > Send your wife and children to beg (where?) [editline]2nd May 2012[/editline] Should I make options every time?
Go look for jobs in the town.
oh no that aint what i meant i thought there were supposed to be options :/ but as you said more interesting without em oh yeah+look for jobs
You say good bye to your children and leave your home to search for jobs. It has started raining and it isn't warm either. You have no luck at finding jobs... The laughter from the saloon is calling you inside.
Go to the Saloon
I'm not home till sunday. Will update then!
As you step inside you smell the nice/bad smell in the air. You can see some people playing poker and your neighbour on the counter, drinking whiskey. Cigarettes, matches and a knife. (You forgot your gun back home)
By the way, I'm still willing to continue this.
Sell cigarettes, bet profits in poker game.
I would recommend robbing a bank, but you forgot your gun at home :P
I would recommend robbing a bank, but you forgot your gun at home :P
Because that can only end well
Because that can only end well
It should certainly work better than trying your luck at a likely crooked gambling game with naught but a few dollars you got from selling some cheap cigarettes that may not be bought anyway.
You try to change the cigarettes to chips but doesn't accept this, saying "Only dollars." Your cousin and neighbour shouts to you: "Ey George! You owe me at least one bottle of whiskey!"
EDIT: Didn't see the whiskey post. Try sell your horses, get to know the people. When your neighbour comes over, tell him that if you can sell the horses, you'll get him a bottle of Daniel Jackson's Prime Whiskey (See what I did there?)
George explains the situation to Buck and he seems to understand it and buys himself a shot. George approaches the table where two men are almost whispering to each other. - Excuse me. - Huh? What in the devil do you want? - I got six horses for sale just outside the city. - Oh really? Who are you? - George Johnson. - Johnson.. Maybe we have a need for them. Could you show them to us?
Show the horses to them.
Agreed. but be careful. Those men don't look very nice. Say that you can go home and bring the horses here. And bring a gun in secret. Those men may be bandits.
George tells the men that you are going to bring the horses to the town. They seem to agree with that and continue chatting with each other. It has started snowing. George sees a strange horse outside his ranch. He cautiously steps inside. There's a man with a smirk on his face in the living room. He holds two revolvers on his belt. - I asked your wife and children to go in another room. I have some things to discuss with you. He offers his hand for you to shake it. - Charlie Buck. Pleased to meet you. Continue chat or do something?
