Well, would have to do it on a test piece of wood first, to see what happens. It you do it your guitar, make sure the coat of paint underneath the thermotropic paint is black. I hope the paint responds OK to lacquers. If anybody asks, it was my idea >.> <.<
Loving my Parker P44 It's so much different than any other guitar. [editline]05:07AM[/editline]
Palm muting better, you get a far chunkier sound, and mutin with your left hand can cause harmonics. [editline]05:04PM[/editline] Anyone Got any tips for barre chords? The intro to cemetary gates is fucking killing me.
I think we weren't talking about Palm Muting. Just string muting.
Is that a Schecter in the middle? Awesome guitars...
yeah it is fucking img kk gonna reupload
Anyone know where you can actually learn guitar easily online? I'm confident to start playing again but never could have been assed to learn.
Just get some songs you would enjoy playing, teach yourself techniques as you progress and learn about them. Seems to have worked for me.
Anyone know where you can actually learn guitar easily online? Mediataggin' for size. My Epiphone G-400. Any my Squire Bullet Strat.
I want a G-400 I'm getting lessons again, but I hope to save up for one and buy it in about a year or so. is that a good idea or should I get something else, I'll have been playing for a year/11 or 10 months before I decide to buy one
The best way to play that five-string bar chord is to set down your index finger first, in a position that would result in you being able to pluck the strings and you wouldn't have any dull notes. THEN once you have that position down, you add the other fingers. Just get that muscle memory in your head and it instantly gets a fuckton easier.
Yeah that's the thing my index is right asshat at barres, and two string always end up muted.
I don't have Guitar Pro.
There is a free alternative, that opens guitar pro tabs, it's really quite good  http://www.tuxguitar.com.ar/
Yeah that's the thing my index is right asshat at barres, and two string always end up muted.
You might just not have long enough fingers. I have the longest fingers of anyone I know and I still have some trouble playing it (it tends to get painful after multiple repetitions)

that's really fucking cool
Any bassists here who have tried the Aria SB 404? Wondering because it's not really expensive and I think it looks just lovely, but my father (who used to play bass) says it's not worth the money and that there's much better stuff for the same price out there. Any response is appreciated. :)
You might just not have long enough fingers. I have the longest fingers of anyone I know and I still have some trouble playing it (it tends to get painful after multiple repetitions)
Nah it's fine now, and ma fingers are easily long enough lol, seems it was just uneven distrobution of pressure, so one finger ended up just muting a string.
Anyone ever heard of Overwater Guitar Company?
im thinking about getting a peavey vypyr 30w. anyone here got one?
(IMAGE) The routing job would be mainly what would be more distinguishable about it, as the top side of the horns would be flat, and the sides of the body rounded, giving the horns a "sharp" look.
I instantly thought of this guitar when I saw that. It's still a neat design though.
I really want a precision bass, anyone here got any experience with squier? http://www.intersalg.no/stores/intersalg/images/prodimages/484045-717440.jpg Its fucking beautiful
I had a red one for a while. I couldn't really tell you if it was a good bass, though, since it was my first bass, and I haven't played any others. It worked pretty good, as far as I know. I gave it to a friend of mine for a better guitar amp, and he hasn't said it was a piece of shit, so that's gotta be good. I'm thinking about getting back into bass, though, and I'm considering an ESP B-204 Bass. Does anyone have any experience with them? As far as I can tell, and from what I've read, it looks like a pretty good Bass. I might sell my old guitar, though I doubt my dad would ever let me use the money for another guitar.

http://www.thomann.de/gb/hagstrom_f20t_wh.htm And by the way, Hagström makes good guitars, it's not some unknown shit company.
now this is a bass guitar I'd have to sell both my parents cars to afford it though

All their stuff looks sort of cumbersome and overdone. It lacks stylish-simplicity.
Rickenbackers are meant to be super fancy, because that's what the world was like when they first came out.
They never looked super fancy to me. To me, Rickenbackers are the simplest-looking guitars. They have the wavey swoosh pickguard and their awesome shape and sometimes a really funky shade of robin's-egg blue and it was instantly the classiest fucking guitar out there. On top of that they still sound better than most guitars today do.
