I'm buying a new amp soon and I cant figure out which i should get. The Fender Vintage Reissue '65 Twin Reverb http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-Vintage-Reissue--65-Twin-Reverb-Guitar-Amp-100128187-i1145362.gc or The Vox Custom AC30C2X http://www.guitarcenter.com/Vox-Custom-AC30C2X-30W-2x12-Tube-Guitar-Combo-Amp-105946115-i1517164.gc
Can't much help you, since I have never owned but 1 amp, but generally I like what I hear from Fender amps. I'd recommend going to your local guitar center and testing them out (assuming they have them both in stock).
Both are really good amps and get great clean tones. I prefer the Twin but I'm a Fender junkie. I'd say go to the store and play them both.
I would go for the Vox
I'd go for what sounds best for you, we can tell you about all these amps but really it's in the eye and ear of the beholder.
At that price, it really depends on what tone you want, you're a lucky man to be getting either one. The 65 has a great vintage tone but obviously you can't get that really bright jangly vox tone out of it. It's up to you. Christ, didn't even notice this was a necro, that's how dead this section is
