It looks like the announcement post was made in early December. And remember, you do have just short of 2 months until the game, so there's a bit of time. I wasn't planning on going until about last week when the members of my CQB arena were talking about going. I do know I'm almost certainly going to the next Pine Plains with a full squad from my CQB arena.
I wish I could go to OPP :v: Northern Light i'll try to get to.
What was your opinion of Merida II than? And be honest, because it was disappointing from a gameplay perspective. The first one was run a lot better. Hanging out with IFAPers was the best part of it but I still had a good time. It seemed kind of directionless to me, there wasn't really any good communication with the refs, the objectives, timelines and rules were not clear and identifying friend and foo was an issue.
The price was ridiculous for what I got gameplay wise (not much), but I fully knew what I was getting in to. OPs at fields new to airsoft tend to be like that. I wasn't driving 5 hours and paying 50 bucks to play an excellent game, I was doing it to meet/play alongside you guys mostly, which was the fun part :v:
Ah, I'm just late than. The problem is alot of this gear is from Hong Kong and Russia. So the shipping times are measured in months, not days or weeks. [editline]8th February 2012[/editline] Also I prefer MOUNT and CQB. I CANNOT STAND woods games. All I do is struggle to walk without tripping and hurting myself or twisting my knees because of all the rocks and branches and shit we have around here. And than my rifles have a tough time penetrating foliage so I usually can't hit shit. CQB and Mount is great because it's a bit more tactical I guess. There are SO MANY ways to cut a pie in a small town or a big building. I just SUCK at breaching rooms. No matter what I do I'll die the moment I enter the doorway. (I mean in general, not just HVA. New York sucks.)
Yeah, the next OP for HVA will probably be run much better because the group of guys that would most likely help run it will definitely work together a lot better, my brother and I also plan to lend a hand and he's got a bunch of ideas that would really make for a good OP I enjoyed Merida II, some things turned out kinda sour, but I had a great time.
Yeah, i'm not disagreeing there, it was great seeing you all and playing alongside you. I just think, for me especially, it was not worth it gameplay wise.
Don't think I'll be going actually, four hours of driving plus a $100+ admission fee plus food, lodging, ammo, etc is a little too steep for me.

Right now my brother and I want to get as many ideas possible and pitch them to help as much as we can. Whatever comes up next will be sweeeeeet.
I would rent out my rossia gear to you guys but I live in CA so....
VSR
get the vsr it is the greatest and the shipping's fast too
will pay for ride up there.
Damn I really wanted to do this, but 10+ hour drive and a $125 admission with limited time to collect what gear I need isn't working for me :saddowns:
Dude, just wear some woodland and whatever gun you can, we'll just say we captured you and threw a Communist Manifesto at you. I've gotta chill with you and Fish somehow.
I might be going to this. But I gotta find another job first then we'll see.

lol jeeps [editline]9th February 2012[/editline] :c
Thought I'd bring this back, who for sure is able to come? I'll probably be joining an American squad if we can't get this setup soon, and I'd rather be among you bros. I've got one confirmed from my indoor arena for the potential Russian Squad.
americans arent allowed to complain about fuel prices come to britain and weep
litres. lol Petrol lololol
americans arent allowed to complain about fuel prices come to britain and weep
$2 per liter, or £1.50 per liter here [editline]17th February 2012[/editline] so ca $7, 8 per gallon
you have it slightly worse than us
Our cars also get much worse fuel economy though, because we're dumb Americans. Maybe 14-15mpg in the camaro.
Our cars also get much worse fuel economy though, because we're dumb Americans. Maybe 14-15mpg in the camaro.
Thats hardly average though, most cars get 25-30 MPGs [editline]17th February 2012[/editline] Battleprius master race
Yes I know, but most cars in Europe get over 40 if I recall correctly. Small car with a light 4 cylinder engine means a Honda on steroids in terms of gas mileage.
Our cars also get much worse fuel economy though, because we're dumb Americans. Maybe 14-15mpg in the camaro.
I get 10~ MPG in my Toyota Tacoma. But that's because it's beat to shit and back my the previous owner, my Father. I still love that truck. Not sure if I'll be making this. I don't really have a ton of cash to spare or a ride.
