i think postal said they still do [editline]4th March 2012[/editline] not like it really matters
i dont think it even shows it like "post marked as: spam" or "post marked as: flaming" any more.
It does.
-snip, irrelevant-
Does Facepunch still have the auto-ban stuff for words?
Why do some people get banned for "predicting bans"? What's the reason behind it?
we dont like psychics
Why do some people get banned for "predicting bans"? What's the reason behind it?
It's basically shitposting. Example: Say I were to go into some random thread and say that op was nothing but pictures of Hitler crossdressing. If one were to go in there and say "inb4 ban", it would be a stupid move and a useless post.
what happens if you predict your own ban?
I guess this counts as a stupid post.
what happens if you predict your own ban?
gets you banned for being stupid enough not to get rid of your stupid post
what happens if you predict your own ban?
perma for wants to be banned or extended for doing something you know not to do
perma for wants to be banned or extended for doing something you know not to do
you could be banned for predicting his ban. Be careful.
He wasn't predicting my ban, he was answering my question.
you could be banned for predicting his ban. Be careful.
you can be banned for being a bad poster be careful ;)

If I change my avatar and it's updated on my profile page does that mean that it's updated for other people to see? I cleared my cache and my profile page avatar changed but not the one on all my posts.

Nobody has a clue how avatars work stop askinggggg
dragon you need to just add some shit on avatars to the op and ban anyone who asks about them
Okay, obviously I care because I asked, and there's no need to be rude cause I questioned a sub-forum's title.
It's spelt wrong because you shouldn't take them seriously.
Nobody has a clue how avatars work stop askinggggg
Avatars used to remain uncached because they always had a timestamp at the end of their URL. When garry changed a few things with avatars (I think around the time blue members lost theirs, then got them back) he removed the timestamp from the avatars. In an effort to try and un-cache the avatars, garry added the "garryis=awesome" to the end of the avatars instead, although that does absolutely nothing. This is because the URL remains the same, rather than changing to the date that the avatar was uploaded. Therefore cloudflare will cache the avatar until it expires, rather than showing the new avatar when it is newly uploaded. At least, I believe that is what is happening. I'm not getting rid of my 80x80 avatar though, so it doesn't really bother me either way.
