Great work man! Keep it up!
material is really muddy and I doubt that car is an looker due to the angle. Post more pics at more angles and some light. [editline]1st December 2011[/editline] also the digital 3d art thread.
Yea im kind of a beginner in rendering so I really didnt know how much shine to make... Made another quick render: And here is older one: And a video that really sucks, so im going to make a new one: https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B6a5J3bb6f44NTZiYmI1ZTItMGY2OS00ZTY4LTgyOWEtODcwYmU4NDBlMGM0&hl=en_US

The render is too dark. The car is too matte for a car. Add some reflections.
I wanted to make it dark :D And for the reflections...im working on it :)
I wanted to make it dark :D And for the reflections...im working on it :)
If you want to make it dark, overlay it with black. I mean shit, go all the way if you want to. Also no you don't want to make it dark. What's the point of a piece if nothing can be seen in it? You could make the bg dark and subject light or vice verse but not both dark. Same goes for wheels, they blend in with the floor. The bg and the windshield blend together. So does the front thing, whatever it's called. I have a composition class and what we get taught there is to blend objects with background but not make them invisible or hard to see.
Looks like
Looks like
... no it looks like a koenigsegg. because it's a koenigsegg
... no it looks like a koenigsegg. because it's a koenigsegg
Looks nothing like that, looks alot more like the GT by Citroen.
^ ^ It looks like a mix between the two, because it's not a real car.
I didnt say it looks like a koenigsegg i just said I used the base from it (width and hight and those basic things...)the design is mine Im 40% finished with the animation, made the car alot more shinier...the catch was surroundings, nothing was surrounding it so it had nothing to reflect...
<----- Ha But nice car though, needs more AA What software are you using?
Im using Sketchup and for rendering a plugin called twilight. Made some shiny improvements: Its still not good but...its better :P
