Also, just to confirm... Does Garry's Mod still load up normally? Are there any sounds when you mouse over the menu options? Does Gmod hang while loading a map? (Use gm_construct or gm_flatgrass to test to avoid false positives with maps that normally take their time loading) Note, creating a fresh folder for Gmod (e.g. renaming your default Garrysmod folder to something else to keep your addons) and verifying the cache does not make any sort of differance.
Okay, so it [b]wasn't[/b] my new version of the Extended Faceposer that is causing me to hang on loading gm_construct in singleplayer. Phew. :v: Though this kinda sucks, seeing as I just decided to build and test a new version, and gmod ups and breaks on me. This seems to happen pretty much every other time I decided to work on something I've been putting off for a while. I'm not sure if the universe is trying to tell me to stop procrastinating and do things when I say I will, or if its telling me to keep procrastinating and [b]never[/b] do things I say I will. :v:
Garrysmod does load - There are no audible sounds for myself, ingame or on the menu. Gmod for myself will connect to a multiplayer server but will crash within a minute. Also I know it's the weekend and life sucks but I hope you can get the source/fix this asap Garry, we've only just gotten it all back working after the last one :/.

For now, we'd have to make do with Gmod 13 Beta.

I haven't crashed but their was no sound at all besides custom sound addons.. this sucks.

This sucks, I just wanted to play gmod this weekend. I havent been able to this whole week because of a bunch of crap and now this. Fuck my life.

First thing I've learned, when Gmod is acting strangely, I straight up alt-tab and go right to this section of the forums, check if anyone else had the issue before I even modify my garrysmod installation. EDIT: Well I did delete my spawnicons folder, and went in the game to rebuild them first. >.>
It's almost as if every other update is made specifically to crash the game. For me, I can boot up the main menu, however if I try to load a map or enter a server the game crashes ten to fifteen seconds into loading.

damnit, gaben'd Guess its time for some gmod 13 beta multiplayer.
I don't hang/crash on loading, but my weapon sounds are bugged up and spawnicons are borked. Ah well, GM13 beta time for me...
