There's is no need to continue the issue any further and there's also no need to insult others idea, friend.
Hey Justin, gotta ask... where is the jet model from? I want to do a few things with it yet I can't find it anywhere.

Oh yeah! I remember your faction, I really like your idea. I'll add it to the OP
Alignment: Combine, Overwatch
Name: Augmentation Force Seven (AF7)
Type: Aviation, Airborne
One of AF7's largest bases in the Sector 17 outlands, located somewhere in the mountainous regions. It features a depot, inside of which troops and equipment are stored.

AF7 typically deploys stabilization units directly into battle via dropship, either to support troops already in the field or to assault an enemy position.

When infantry is not appropriate for the task, however, AF7 may make use of exogenous units, hybrid vehicles, or even recycled human vehicles depending on the occasion.
Augmentation Force 7, abbreviated as AF7, is a large sub-division of Airwatch under the Sector 17 Overwatch. As one of several augmentation forces in the capital sector, it is favored by Overwatch to be deployed across the world. Its ranks sport a colorful mix of transhuman and exogenous units, which are mainly deployed in Eastern Europe as offense or as support for other Overwatch branches in certain operations. However, groups of AF7 units may detach from the main force and be deployed in other sectors, should a particular situation turn dire. AF7's transhuman units are known to utilize all sorts of equipment, from Combine-engineered technology to leftovers from before the Seven Hour War; they are also known for employing irregular tactics if necessary.
Currently, AF7 is performing reconnaissance of Sector 17 after receiving various reports of insurgents in the area from Overwatch.
Area of Operation: Eastern Europe (Mainly)
Internet is back :godzing:
The scavenging group returned back to the base with their hands full of loot, with enough supplies to feed the base for days they decided to share a small part of the findings with the village.
Veteran teaching the young and elderly how to maintain, clean and reload a gun.
The four Ak-47s are currently being used by the best marksmen on the group, new weapons were found, the two M60s were stored away for more dangerous missions.
As for the Mig-17...
It was an ordeal to bring it back to the HQ. with new overwatch forces on the sky, the scavengers had to be careful.
Sergey: I don't think it is going to fit in the garage.
For now, the Mig-17 will remain hidden on the HQ until it can be relocated into a hangar.
(Hope you guys don't mind some light hearted humor from time to time :downs:)
Hope there are still pilots remaining that are able to fly this thing.
Hope there are still pilots remaining that are able to fly this thing.
The little "comic" was going to be a bit longer. Sergey asking if anyone knows how to pilot that thing and everyone in the base looking at each other awkwardly. (even the houndeyes.)
I'm sure someone on the village, white forest or any ally I may get in the future will have a pilot, or so I hope.

Good luck getting fuel, too.
Hours after receiving the report of an abandoned aircraft and other supplies, an AF7 stabilization team responds.

After arriving, the dropship unloads its payload without opposition and the team secures the hangar's surroundings.

Since no contacts are encountered, they proceed to search the structure.
SWEEPER-8: "Area secure, no viscon. RANGER-6, on me."
The two soldiers move up to the hangar gates.

Upon finding the hangar empty, the team's leader contacts command.
SWEEPER-8: "Overwatch, advise, we have no visual on salvage target."
OVERWATCH: "Team recall is in effect. Scan of neighboring zones has been mandated."

The dropship departs the runway and heads towards its base of origin.

As a result, gunships are deployed in the vicinity to perform extensive patrols with the convenience of their sensors. Their primary objective is to find tracks of the convoy that had transported the missing equipment and their secondary objective is to locate enemy presences, making them quite noticeable as they pass through the airspace above every faction in the region. No intentional assaults are to be launched by the gunships.
In woodlands around sector 17.
Two bullsquid hunters from Podokovsky see gunships from afar, worried, the two huntsmen leave their hunted game behind and rush back to the village and warn the others. The people of the village are worried that they may get attacked soon, Sergey tries to assure them it won't happen any time soon, or so he hopes.
While he still hopes that AF7 units will eventually leave the woodlands, he decides to warn White Forest, Lambda 17-14 and The Railroad about the gunships and the return of AF7, he also asks if somebody is willing to trade a rocket launcher for a M60 and some basic supplies, just in case a gunship attacks the village, they have to defend it at all costs.
Rumors start to run wild in Podokovsky, the villagers are now blaming the Zvezda Brigada for the sudden reappearance of AF7, they believe that their bold militaristic tactics probably caught the attention of the combine. Sergey and the rebels, however, decide to remain neutral with them.
(this is getting interesting :godzing:)

I might rejoin the thread as the independent faction. One question is human settlements in wasteland allowed ? like and what is maximum population size ?
Human settlements are allowed, keep the settlement population under 150 people. But if you start, you start with about 12 people automatically
NO PRESTON GARVEYS.
Wait there are Population caps for specific factions?.
Wait there are Population caps for specific factions?.
For factions in the wasteland I think he meant
well, let me think. No, no population cap, but if you do choose to start a settlement, You start at 12 villagers and grow from there
well, let me think. No, no population cap, but if you do choose to start a settlement, You start at 12 villagers and grow from there
Is that wasteland factions or all factions?
This rule applies to the resistance factions. Combine don't have settlements, they have Forward operating bases. I'll update the OP
Is that wasteland factions or all factions?
I hope not, I already wrote down several times that Podokovsky is overpopulated -- while not everyone in my village are rebel sympathizers, most are.

12 is practically nothing though. Minimum should be at least fifty.
For now I'll let things slide. Podikovsky can stay over populated and Viper is right 50 will be the starting number.
just added the new rule and the factions. I also was very liberal with the population, so I set it to 100
just added the new rule and the factions.
just updated it.
Sergey: We are back at Podokovsky, I left just for a day yet I was already missing the sight of the overcrowded market as shop keepers scream that their bargains are better than their rival...
Sergey: Me and Joaquin left the HQ in the morning along with one of our oldest Houndeyes, I call him Wilbur. We often leave for a day to explore new areas, a decade has passed ever since we made that old radio station our base yet we were not able to explore carefully it's surroundings, we were heading north this time, less sights of alien wildlife there. However, a few hours into our trip and we already encountered people, humans.

Sergey: Three of them, two males and a female, the men were wearing camo clothing while the woman was wearing an old gas mask, they were cautious, aiming their guns at us, it took them some time to realize we were not hostile as I approached them with a wide smile and told them my name, they told me theirs, I shake hands with their leader, they were a scout party for a group of fighters called The Eastern Minutemen, they don't seem to fight against us, but they don't seem to share our same objectives.

Sergey: Joaquin commented on the dead combine soldiers and their wrecked elite synth behind them, calling it a "beautiful work of art" however, the minuteman quickly told us that they didn't kill any of them, they just found them like that -- I realized at that point that we were close to the territory of the Zvezda Brigada, I told the strangers about them and they looked puzzled but we all agreed in leaving before they came back, we part ways wishing good luck to one another, hopefully the Minutemen will help us in the future.

Sergey: It was getting late, we were heading back to base through a different path to cover more ground, we also had to be careful distant gunships were heard on the distance -- as we marched through the woods, the distinctive sound of an angry hunter made us take cover, soon after we heard the voices of overwatch soldiers, it was a scout party, one was armed with an AR2 and the other with a shotgun, we were pinned down -- Joaquin armed himself with valor, he saw a chance to fire back and he took it.
Sergey: I said out loud as the combine soldier fell dead on the ground, the shotgunner and his synth beast remained. Hunters are though enemies, hard to kill... but no enemy is strong enough against a Houndeye blast. While Joaquin was shooting at the the soldier, little ol' Wilbur sneaked down a fallen tree and got behind both the hunter and the shotgunner, he made a loud sound wave blast that left us deaf for a few moments, when we looked at him we saw the shotgunner dead on the ground, blood pouring down the holes of his mask, the hunter was still alive, just stunned, I killed it with a few shots and then looked at our little hero.

Sergey: I don't know how we survived that encounter, perhaps we are so used to this kind of surprise flanking tactics of the combine or perhaps we are just lucky and God was on our side. We picked their weapons and ammo and left, AR2's are rare to find, this is a valuable weapon these days!

Sergey: It was late, we unpacked our thing and got ready to spend the night in the woods... out of all the people in the HQ I always travel with Joaquin because he is quiet, he never talks about anything, but that night it was different...
Joaquin: I miss home... I miss my family... I want to go home...
He said with sorrow as he watched the embers float in the air.
Joaquin: Caracas was such of beautiful city... I loved walking down the plaza with my kids, knowing that they... they...
I told him that there is no need to delve in the past any further, we all have to move forward and hope for the best for mankind... some people place their trust in some mythical figure or put their hope on the scientist that made this mess in the first place, others put their trust in weapons and power... I don't know which is the correct answer, all I want to do is help everyone, but it's getting harder everyday... I wonder, will the resistance ever win this war?
Phew... that was long, here is a bit of history about Sergey, had a lot of fun taking the pictures, specially the ones with combat on them (I hate hunter ragdolls).
(As always, sorry for my POTATO English :downs:)
Nice content Edward, I need to get off my lazy ass and make some more pics too.
Using the recovered SO25 gas, The Disruptors have managed to manufacture a dozen or so prototype gas grenades. They work similar to a normal hand grenade, you pull the pin and have about 5 seconds until the deadly gas is released into the surrounding area. They are estimated to be lethal in a tight space, but in the open have an estimated kill radius of only about 20-30 meters.
I used the colour tool to make them different to the standard hl2 grenade model, sorry if it is hard to tell but they are meant to be a light yellow colour
