On the topic of vocoders, I emailed Jess Cliffe last month to ask him about how he did the CS radio voices but Valve pretty much never replies. He said he did it via audio editing, but does anyone know the specifics to change?

You could try gooseman (Minh Le) I guess

At least is what we have it in Obsidian Conflict, no idea if you need to edit extra stuff to make it work.
