Motorola Atrix 4G. Holy. Shit.
dat quadrant
I went a little over 1,500 with my D2G. Wish I could get those speeds.
Today was pretty good, finally got around to the hall with Samsung/HTC/Motorola/LG booths, I was simply amazed by LG and I think they're going to replace Samsung in terms of quality products, the 3D mobile display was awesome, reminds me of the 3DS in terms of "glasslessness" but it actually looked better than the 3DS. The Optimus Black was really cool but the LG Revolution takes the cake for the most amazing mobile-phone at this year's CES. LTE-enabled, 4.3 inch display goodness sporting 2.3 and possibly 2.4 upon launch. [editline]8th January 2011[/editline] and no, I am not resizing that shit.
Are there any GSM companies in the US that are as cheap as sprint and verizon?
retoasting
Stop using quadrant and start using linpack you lot :v:
Motorola Atrix 4G. Holy. Shit. [img_thumb]http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2011/01/motoatrix4gdock52.jpg[/img_thumb]
Use Quandrant Advanced, so we can see if your score is not "tricked" by an incredible I/O like it is with a Galaxy S with lagfix. Sadly, Quandrant Standard Edition doesn't say much about the actual phone's speed. [editline]8th January 2011[/editline]
Stop using quadrant and start using linpack you lot :v:
Yeah, linpack is the best to compare the pure computing speed of the phone. Standard now since the 80's for comparing computers' speed.
What makes it so fast? For all we know it could be fast IO. Edit: Ninja'd by 30 minutes :argh:
That's why we suggest either using Quadrant Advanced so we can see the Quadrant-"cheaters" or simply LinPack for bare CPU-Comparison.
What makes it so fast? For all we know it could be fast IO. Edit: Ninja'd by 30 minutes :argh:
Maybe because it runs on the tegra 2 platform with 1gb RAM :v:

Just put them in tags.
Maybe because it runs on the tegra 2 platform with 1gb RAM :v:
All I know is that Tegra 2 has two cores, but how fast are they? They could be slower than a Hummingbird or the new Snapdragons and most apps using only one core would slow down. Also, Quadrant doesn't measure memory capacity.

Posting using remotedroid. Also just about to flash android on to my joggler.

I finally bought a HTC Desire. I haven't even unboxed it yet. I also bought a full-body invisibleShield.
What is this weird bright spot? It recently appeared on my HTC Desire... They give replacement HTC 3450, but it's WP6, so it's silly.
Could anyone recomend some unique launchers? If possible I want something that can categorise my app drawer.
Could anyone recomend some unique launchers? If possible I want something that can categorise my app drawer.
Go Launcher allows you to make iOS style folders in your app drawer. ADW Launcher allows you to make Catalogues, but they aren't very well implemented.
Is anybody gonna get a tablet running 3.0 cuz isn't it designed for tablets? I'm probably late here but I was just wondering.
Since this concerns Android users, I need to know what you think of this user interface.
Sexy if you click a post will it give the ratings and a reply button?
Just went out and bought a plastic shield thing for my Desire, as well as a screen protector. My phone should arrive on monday or tuesday! :D
I like the layout, it resembles the norm layout of google's apps like the market.
Sexy if you click a post will it give the ratings and a reply button?
Yes, probably like the Twitter for Android app.
Hey everyone, I finally gonna go get myself a phone today. So, I'm in Canada, and know only the slim basics of what to get for these, I do want an Android, and would prefer it to be the fastest or as close as I can get out there. I don't know what carriers are and aren't available here though. Any fellow canucks help?
