Uh, just update with iTunes then use redsn0w...
Apparently you can't update with this new baseband, you need to use custom IPSW's or something.
Hi guys. I recently jailbroke my iPhone 4, 4.2.1 firmware. After a while the 3G disappeared even though all my other friends' iPhone 4s had 3g, so I decided to restore my iPhone. Put my phone into recovery mode and restored from the 4.2.1 firmware that I had used to jailbreak my phone, but got an error 1015. Now my phone is stuck in recovery mode and I can't boot it up anymore. Using TinyUmbrella doesn't work because the phone just exits recovery for ~1 minute and after that it goes back into recovery mode again. I'm really scared that I've given myself a $400 paperweight - Could someone help me?

As for apps: OpenSSH Winterboard (if you really want it too look different) SBSettings Other misc. tweaks. Check youtube and browser for top Cydia apps and such. Oh, and emulators, they're always fun.
Any news on an unthetered 4.2.1 iPod Touch 2G MC jailbreak?
If you jailbreak do you get app store apps for free?

But it can be useful at times.
My friend must be a liar, then. I'm not surprised.

Ezhik is dumb. Hackulo.us is a URL. You could just as easily type it in the URL bar.
All jailbroken and have installed plenty of apps, is there any other good apps that would be useful. A nice text editor would be very useful.
A good text editor for iPad is called Pages. It's made by Apple and supports Word documents. Very handy
Any jailbreak programs for 4.2.1 yet?
redsn0w does not work for my MC 2G iPod Touch. Damn.
Comex where is my Jailbreakme 3.0. You said it'd be out for christmas :saddowns:
A good text editor for iPad is called Pages. It's made by Apple and supports Word documents. Very handy
Though I hear that is really good I would prefer a jailbreak app that shows the entire filesystemand supports syntax highlighting.
So is there no way to jailbreak 4.2.1? Just got a 32 gig iPod Touch 4G and just curious I couldn't live without jailbreaking my old 1G, SBsettings was way too useful
Redsn0w should work. but it seems to be a Mac only release as of now.

Very handy
I'm very happy with pages as an app, it's got a ton of useful features and can even export / import documents from Microsoft word files. (wireless printing owns too)
is there an untethered 4.2.1 jb anywhere for windows
Pages is meh. Wireless printing used to own before Apple removed it from iTunes and Bonjour.
Redsn0w should work. but it seems to be a Mac only release as of now.
Pretty sure that when I click the "Its a MC model" button it says that it is not supported.
I remember a long time ago I got this thing from Cydia that made blank spaces without labels so you could separate your apps, but now I forget what it was called. Does anybody know the name of it?
can i disable safari's auto-correct. I have autofill disabled or something like that, but auto-correct is pissing me off to no end, i've disabled everything i could think of in the settings.
Just jailbroke my iPod running iOS 4.1 using limera1n. Doesn't work with Windows 7 64 bit unless you run it in compatiblity mode under Windows XP SP3.
