Any necessary cydia apps?
Necessary is really down to user preference and needs. Personally, I would suggest looking into:
BiteSMS ([iPhone] Quick reply messaging)
Springtomize ([iPhone/iPad] Customises many aspects of the springboard such as carrier name, hiding apps like Newsstand and changes the way the multitask bar works by only having backgrounded apps and not ones you've used recently).
RetinaPad ([iPad] Forces iPhone applications to use retina graphics)
F.lux ([iPad] Tints your screen orange when you use it at night)
Dimmer ([iPad] Makes it so when you lower your brightness to a certain point, that it actually darkens your screen for when using it at night)
They're the only ones I really rely on and the indicate what device I prefer using the tweak with. Although, I'm not using BiteSMS at the moment as it seems to drain my battery in v6.1 far more than v6.0.
iFile, I can use something like iFunBox to replace its functionality and CyDelete is only good if you're testing out tons of tweaks.
Jailbroke my iPod, finally.
Springtomize is pretty fucking cool.

Hi guys, my current iPhone 4 is tethered on iOS5. Is there an untethered version out? If so, please could I be linked to a download?
In addition. I have an Orange SIM card I cut down to a micro-sim, it used to work but since the jailbreak to tethered iOS5, I would continue to get "No Service". What gives?
Am I the only one who has problems connecting their Wiimote with emulators? I use the "Wiimote" slider and when I exit the app, the slider defaults back to off.
iPhone 4 - 5.0.1
Recently jailbroked my iPhone 3GS - 5.0.1 and a little minor problem with the theme. When I open a folder, the icons reverts back to pre-theme look and so does the background. Anyway to make it so background stays the same as the theme and the icons also?
To those of you who have a jailbroken iphone 4s - when you install winterboard, do you experience a slight lag when switching springboard pages? :)
I know on the iphone 4 it does by just installing winterboard..
Seems fine to me.
I get a slight lag on my 3GS, I've grown use to it though. It's only a few seconds at most.
Hot damn, an open source Siri server
For use with Spire on non-4S devices, I would imagine.
Just a few more weeks and they could port this shit over to Android :suicide:
So if I want to upgrade from ios 4 to ios 5 and I want to jailbreak it using redsn0w, will all the contacts, pictures etc be lost when I do the jailbreak with redsn0w?

All of your apps will dissappear but you do get to keep your notes, photos and contacts etc.

How? Won't you have to do a full restore? I thought that would delete your contacts and stuff
