Rather ironic coming from a guy with a SEGA avatar :v: I've said this x times, but I have a GC->USB connector. It is bliss.
GC -> USB adapters seem difficult to find. Mayflash makes a few, but they are very uncommon or $20-30 an adapter. Where did you find one?
This is where I bought it.
Thanks
Those cost way too much, you can get them for way cheaper
Those cost way too much, you can get them for way cheaper
Show me where. I looked around for about ten days before settling on that one.
a player of a game cannot tell if a game is badly optimized just by their fps so in other words, you know nothing
Unless talking about specific optimization, such as graphical or network optimization. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] so in other words, you're generalizing.
i7-2600K MSI P67S-C43 Corsair XMS3 4 x 2 GB PC3-10600 Cooler Master Elite 310 Yes? :sax:
Show me where. I looked around for about ten days before settling on that one.
whelp nvm, i swear there were cheaper ones, guess not.
Posting from an Acer Iconia tablet (The W500 to be exact). It's quite nice to be honest, but it's a bit too expensive (less powerful, but more expensive than a netbook) and typing here on faceounch is pretty laggy, and I kind of think it is the spinning icon's fault. Also it's almost impossible to rate posts. But it's pretty sexy regardless. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] I'm in a store by the way [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] Wait, shit. How do I log out from here?
Why would you go on Faceounch on a laptop in a store [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] Or come, actually

In all fairness Metro 2033 did look stunning, on par with C2 i'd argue. Even at 10fps
In my opinion M2033 looks better than C2.
A friend of my mum's paid $500 for a logo for her business. Sounding bad enough already? It gets MUCH, MUCH worse. The logo is literally just the business name typed out in a random, probably free font. Under a minute of work (and that's counting the time it takes to launch photoshop). For $500. Oh, but it gets worse. I opened up dafont and it's the third font on the front page. Wow. I have no words. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] This is 100% true I am not fucking lying

[editline]26th May 2011[/editline] This is 100% true I am not fucking lying
Welcome to the world of graphic design. I did work experience for school once, The lady was a cocky fucking bitch (I R 1337 GRAFIX DESIGN), all she did was text, gradients and stock images. That is completely it and I don't mean to make complex shit, blending all that stuff. I mean one stock image, one gradient on the side going to the middle and some text. that is fucking it, every fucking thing she did.
Amazon review on Portal 2:
Why the heck does Portal on the 360 run at sub HD, low res textures, jaggies everywhere and choppy framerate? I thought valve were PC developers? Returning this garbage and getting the PS3 version.
It was definitely the same font though :v:
Clear cookies etc.
That's what I ended up doing. They also had a tablet with Windows 7. In my opinion tablets have potential, but it's not quite there yet.
On the subject of selling things, it's easy to forget just how incredibly illiterate the vast, vast majority of pc users is. I did a small poll amongst friends and family, out of about 20, only two knew the difference between a Geforce 6800 series and a radeon HD 6800 series besides the geforce/radeon name.
the majority of most tech userbases have no idea what the fuck they're doing, how did you forget this it's why computer repair businesses make so much money
That's also why working a tech support job can be both hilarious and completely frustrating at times.
also: 1920 x 1200 master race 1920 x 1080 = inferior specimen
depends for gaming and movies 1080p is probably the best option considerin the recent trend of games being locked to 16:9 for no reason for documents/web browsing 16:10 is better

Are there technical reasons for it?
