IT HURTS WHY
I once saw this image, if you select it you would see alternate content (As in, no clothes). Only worked on IE6 and previous though
So I spent the last half hour rearranging my room to put my 30 inch HDTV on my computer desk to see what it would be like as a monitor. 1920*1080 feels good. extreme ghosting feels bad. I'm still debating whether I should keep using it as a monitor.
Why the fuck do you run 1920x1080 on 30" if you can also run that on 24"

I'd like to see that on an iPhone 4

There are the hybrid modes in laptops which is often marketed off as SLi/CrossFire. You know, where the laptop falls back to the more power-efficient IGP under low load.
Why the fuck do you run 1920x1080 on 30" if you can also run that on 24"
Probably because I don't have anything 24" in 1920x1080.

Zooming in, it seems to be switching from using filtering when still and not filtering while scrolling, showing the aliased effect.
Probably because I don't have anything 24" in 1920x1080.
Then keep using the tv as a tv and get a proper monitor?
Gabe Newell uses a TV at his office
WHY!!!!!
olo they said it's faster and beautiful twice
I noticed it's always a usual sight for me to see certain people on semi-active gaming forums giving computer upgrading advice when they have no clue what they are actually talking about and successfully convince others to spend an unneeded extra $500-$1000.
Killer NIC makes you faster.
And $200 keyboards with backlighting makes you a better gamer.
I bought a gaming NIC and now I ping 2ms to the moon.
Blue-led fans will make you computer cool.
Blue-led fans will make you computer cool.
And red makes them go faster etc.
And red makes them go faster etc.
But hotter. Green leds are alien and make your computer better without making it hotter
And red makes them go faster etc.
And green makes them more efficient. EDIT: And don't forget to buy Ethernet packets when you go to a LAN party.
And green makes them more efficient. EDIT: And don't forget to buy Ethernet packets when you go to a LAN party.
I keep on forgetting those. Explains why I cant connect to my friends.
I keep on forgetting those. So i just had my Literature presentation for Dutch (Middle ages were the theme) and one of my teammates made the presentation, here's what was wrong with it: He used this font, everywhere. And didn't have a paper to read from with normal font, no he read from the SMARTboard: Second, he made the presentation on his iPad with keynote, converted it to powerpoint (Fucking up all layout and positions) only to later view it on the teachers macbook which has keynote (obviously) so during the presentation he closed it multiple times to realign text. And last, he was running it at 800x600, native resolution of the SMARTboard, 1600x1400. (He would not let me change the resolution. And i also had to lend my miniDVI -> VGA (Thats right, school uses VGA for HD Beamers that have HDMI and DVI in) to him to use with the teachers mac, so he would let me enable the beamer, but then he just kicked me off.) Also, school IT first bought Apple miniDVI -> vga connectors, then the new unibody macs came that have MiniDP, and they are buying bundles that have both miniDVI and miniDP ->, From a cheap chinese fucktard company, result, 90% of all the beamers have a yellow, pink or green tint to them because the cables dont even have shielding. [editline]31st May 2011[/editline] More content from PC building: I ask a guy to post a picture of his expansion slots so we can see what he has, he posts this: Ok good image, he understood me. But then, A wild moron appears And he posts:
It's not worth upgrading your current computer, it's a much better idea to start a completely fresh build. That CPU is passively cooled, oh wow.
ITS A FUCKING NORTHBRIDGE :frog:
Oh wow. Remind me to never go to Meppel no matter what

It's not worth upgrading your current computer, it's a much better idea to start a completely fresh build. That CPU is passively cooled, oh wow.
ITS A FUCKING NORTHBRIDGE :frog:
Jallen? He is not that stupid, i think, probably trolling.
Oh wow. Remind me to never go to Meppel no matter what
FYI, Meppel is the name of where i live and where my school is located :P (All first years get MacBooks instead of books, pretty nice school. This afternoon there's an information day for digital education) [editline]31st May 2011[/editline]
Jallen? He is not that stupid, i think, probably trolling.
He blames it on it being early [editline]31st May 2011[/editline] Oh i just love it when students combine crappy hotmail servers + slow internet during classes. We are having more presentations and they all need to download 5mb powerpoints, time: 15 minutes :frog: [editline]31st May 2011[/editline] Oh i love this, my mac has perfectly fine internet, and teachers mac 10m away cant even load apple.com (Safari + default homepage) [editline]31st May 2011[/editline] WHAT. THEY WANT MY MAC. [editline]31st May 2011[/editline] I managed to save mine from those cannibals by fixing the teachers (Somehow airport had turned off)
WHAT. THEY WANT MY MAC.
It is quite annoying when everyone wants a turn with your stuff.
It is quite annoying when everyone wants a turn with your stuff.
Yup. Anyways, more content inbound in 2 hours, i'll be helpdesk on information day. [editline]31st May 2011[/editline] Wut. Beamer froze and mac screen went on with powerpoint slides..
