Use a user-agent faker.
On OSX Firefox is constantly using 500MB of RAM at startup and idles at 15-20% CPU usage on an i7-2635QM (quad) :saddowns: so I've been using Chrome. I tried using the only one available for Chrome and it didn't work.
IE9 Linux master race
Kind of misleading, nothing horrific though: ... :suicide:
I don't see anything wrong with that one.

It's 1AM, why the hell is WinSAT.exe trying to update my WEI score and automatically setting the system theme to Windows Basic?

BitMining on a 6970, 335 MHash/s
BitMining on a 6970, 335 MHash/s
Bit mining on my Core2Duo, 1500 Khash/s and a 7600GS and Pentium 4 combined 500 KHash/s. This ain't gonna work.
http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1096478-Bitcoin [editline]12th June 2011[/editline] also 335 MHash is horrible on a 6970
Why does AMD GPU's have so better scores? Im running my overclocked MSI 590 and I'm only getting 190Mhash/s.
-snip-
20gb of free space just disappeared overnight. At first i thought steam downloaded all games again because i loaded garrysmod, but it didn't D:
Wait, what's dumb about that? It's not like it's his fault that he gets a horrible speed...
It's dumb because this isn't the bitcoin thread.
Your brother/dad/cousin/uncle/dog is downloading porn
Nope, turned out steam actually had downloaded the games but didn't list them as downloaded?
Nope, turned out steam actually had downloaded the games but didn't list them as downloaded?
That's not a question?
Why does AMD GPU's have so better scores? Im running my overclocked MSI 590 and I'm only getting 190Mhash/s.
AMD GPUs have a lot of stream processors that run at slower speeds, nVidia GPUs have less stream processors, but they run a lot quicker. Since the difficulty of the algorithm isn't all that complicated, you don't need much power in calculating it, you need more cores to run as many copies of the same process simultaneously. It's the same reason why hashing on a CPU is so slow, because you have very few threads running the same algorithm (assuming the mining program is multithreaded, most people would have between 2-4 simultaneous copies of the algorithm running). On a GTX280, for example, you have 240 copies of the algorithm running simultaneously (assuming every processor is being used), and on a 4870, you have 800 copies of it. While for general use (games) the nearly doubled clock speed of the GTX280 stream processors (~1.3GHz vs. the 4870's ~750MHz) makes up for the lack of stream processors and they both work out roughly the same in terms of performance, repetitive and simple algorithms using OpenCL/CUDA/any other GPGPU library benefit greatly from a higher number of cores. Overclocking will only get you a marginal change in MHash/s. That being said, there's a bitcoin thread - use it.
Your brother/dad/cousin/uncle/dog is downloading porn
reminds me of this news article where a guy claimed his cat downloaded child porn on limewire
