Virus Scanned? Powercolor has a relatively high failure rate, so if push comes to shove, RMA it.
Virus Scanned?
and what EXACLY do you mean with if push comes to shove, RMA it??
He means, if it's really that bad, send it back.
He means, if it's really that bad, send it back.
how the hell can it be that bad...on the review and where i bought the place customers said it was a great card that maxxed out for example crysis on 1920x1080, not aa thought but it shall work better then THAT on gmod for an instance...
He means you got a faulty card.
well i played need for speed shift on highest with full HD and 16x...it cant be failing :S i only belive i have this problem in garrysmod..is garrysmod a high cpu usage game or any other factors that may cause this...as i said i had the same fps as on my old GPU so it should have something to do with my garrysmod installation OR hardware issues since the gpu works fine

-snip-
mite be defective and i wouldn't get powercolor but ok.
Did you run the older card at the same resolution?
Yes i did...i have the EXACT settings as i did on my old card and i still havent found the answer yet :S oh one more thing..i did some tests by turning all settings to the highest and then putting them at the LOWEST i could put it..no fps difference :S thats just weird. the map was rp downtown v2 or something like that
the map was rp downtown v2 or something like that
There's your problem. You're trying to play DarkRP.
-snip-
check your drivers.
Physics glitch somewhere in the map?
Stop saying his card broken just cause it's made by Power Colour, they are fine.
There's your problem. You're trying to play DarkRP.
well yes i do play rp,if you looked at the top you will see that i said rp map ,and my friends get around 45-60 fps at the SAME location i stand and look at the same thing and i still only get around 27-33. we have tested, and as i said i dont get ANY fps difference when changing settings from highest to lowest so its got to be some weird fault. i dont realy want to reinstall steam and all my games :S and thanks lf752,powercolor may not be the best but they ARE good at making gpu,s i already had one before and i bought this because they work good. and this is standard overclocked 950/1050 and changed to 990/1120 and still holds the temp down. oh and another thing why its not broken, if it was then i would not be able to run gta 4 on 1920x1080 and everything besides view distance on highest. it runs just fine

Stays above 100 on a full rp server. ontopic: Why do you compare your fps to your friends' ? Don't do that. They either lie or have a better pc. Try that : Delete the garry's mod folder. You'll lose the mods but you won't have to download it again.

I get about 30 with everything but View Distance (39, damn you Steam version not liking command lines) maxed, 2048x1152, on my Q9550 4.0, 4870 1GB, 4GB DDR2 rig.
6gigs DDR 3 I never checked the FPS it's probably mid 40's. laggin a little when i look around as racing through the city. It doesn't feel as smooth as l4d. 1920x1080 AFx16 AAx2
