Not a fan of the buntu, but I do like the grandma's wallpaper.
When I downloaded pacman it was really awkward. I type pacman -S packagenameiforgot and pacman came up.
i was confused
Just replaced Ubuntu 11.04 with the new Linux Mint Katya 11. Got a bit of tweaking to do, but it's a start.
I don't like mint anymore.
It's the most bloated piece of shit ever made imo.

What makes you think that? Ubuntu is probably more 'bloated'. In Mint, everything works out the box (Flash, MP3, Java) and all the essential applications are already installed. Of course, you can always remove them if you see fit.
The only thing I don't really like about Mint is the 'Google Custom Search' in Firefox, however, that is easily fixable by using a plugin.
But I like my customization. In mint it is nearly as bad as windows with the customization. It is also TOO user friendly if you know what I mean and it has SO MANY unneeded applications on it. I have many more reasons too.
because the idea of mint was that you would have a ready to go system that you don't need to download packages for. It's target market is the same as Ubuntu, which is to say Windows users that want to try Linux or Linux users that don't want a bare bones distro like arch or a back breaking distro like Gentoo. Saying that it's bloated or not customizable would be like saying that screwdrivers suck because they can't hammer in nails very well. Besides, it's trying to be a more usable Ubuntu, which is already worse than Windows in the eyes of l33t Linux h4ckzors. /rant
