Basically this is the stats of my OLD (roughly 2 years old) pc that I wish to sell and build an upgraded version. Case: Cooler Master Storm CPU: Quad Core i7 920 @ 3.45Ghz (H50 cooling) RAM: 12gb 1337mhz ram Mobo: Asus Rampage II Gene GPU: GTX 560TI 1gb stable at (920mhz) PSU: 800w standard 60gb SSD for boot drive 500gb 7200rpm 1tb 7200rpm 160gb 7200rpm Blu-ray drive reads all formats can write CDs and DVDs. Belkin N+1 PCI-e wireless Many thanks in advance.
That isnt old. I would recken about $1500
Decent specs, I would say roughly $2000

I would get same build, less RAM (8gb), better gfx, 2 1tb HDD's, 1 120GB SSD, same optical. Idk why upgrade, just buy new gfx.

To get a new GFX I would need a new PSU (its not modular and I don't have anymore power cables) I also would like to rebuild the hard-drives I have, as space is an issue and the SSD is too small I think for the OS and critical programs. The CPU I've found is locked meaning I can't overclock it any-further xD I'm buying a server and I'll be moving the 12gb ram to the server and then getting 6 or 8gb of ram for it. It gets to the stage where I think, why not just build a whole new one xD.
