Currently I have: AMD x3 445 Radeon 6670 ASRock 770 Extreme3 4 GB RAM What will be the most outdated in ~1 year, and what upgrade would give me the largest performance boost?
What are the premises for mixing ram. Voltages or speed? What need to be the same?
voltage is the only one that might cause crashes (undervolting to match other RAM), otherwise you can put whatever RAM you want together, just know that they'll all be as fast as the slowest

You'll want a new graphics card first though, as that platform is still decent for gaming.
What is that crap and why do you have it installed.
It's not crap. It's a very useful software. Normally it was just used to see what takes most time to launch on start up. The thing I'm posted is something new and it keeps doing that. Done it for a long time now.
It looks mighty useless though, best off just uninstalling it.
Ultra easily
I play bf3 ultra on my gtx 460 and it runs fine, there's like one map that doesn't run well
What is a good case to get for a gaming build in which I want to focus on cooling as well as USB 3 availability? I've lost track. Is Antech Twelve Hundred still as good as it used to be? Although it doesn't have USB 3 ports as far as I'm aware.

Everytime I switch on my pc it makes a horrid grinding noise, hitting the side near the power seems to fix it. I know, I shouldn't hit it. Any help?

[editline]16th January 2012[/editline]
Sounds like something is hitting one of the fans.
If a wire was hitting it, would not make a loud grinding noise. One of my fans does this on cold boot.
