If he's in Cali or any other tax state then I would just drop one of the 5850 and get an 5870. The only good side in Cali is the actual 3 days guaranteed shipping (because it's main warehouse is in Cali) and it's less likely to get lost.

It shows up as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236079. Notice the ....... in between the Produc and numbers. Don't copy and paste the links because forums tend to shorten links.
Thanks, forgot about that. Anyways it is all fixed.
I just noticed. Your build doesn't have an optical drive. If it did then it would be around the price of my build.
I just noticed. Your build doesn't have an optical drive. If it did then it would be around the price of my build.
Fucking... Anyways, now it stands $1756.16 - $20 for MIR.
Tax is now 10% AFIAK. Also, why a blue HAF, those are moar expensive, and you're already quite a bit over. Switch out the 5870 for 2 of these. They cost less and will perform better in xfire. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127468 You'd do better getting the gigabyte ud4p. The corsair RAM runs at 1.65v which is above what Intel recommends, but most people say its ok. However G.SKILL ram runs 1600 and is 1.5v

However, switch it out for a HAF 922 and it will be under budget. Also, just get a 5870. With a HAF 922 it comes to a Grand Total:$1,707.43 - $40 for a MIR. And then he is good to go.

Anyways, the HAF 922 looks pretty good and has room for almost anything. Also, 2 5850 in crossfire will perform better then a single 5870, which is 1/3 more for a 20% (I think?) performance.
