So about the iMac Pro with its Xeon processor and all... What does this mean for the Mac Pro? Will they redesign it like they said at one point, or will they go "the mac pro has evolved lul" and kill the trashcan?
they're not throwing away the mac pro. craig federighi said that the trashcan mac pro was a bad design and phil schiller said that they're working on redesigning the mac pro and it will be modular, but it will definitely not come out in 2017 https://www.macrumors.com/2017/04/04/apple-updates-mac-pro-and-more/
Would it cause more widespread panic if Google vanished off the face of the earth than if Apple did? Just trying to confirm what's more vital to the world?
apple kinda actually has a video about that
Hey guys, How scared should I be at the dentist tomorrow? I'm getting a problematic wisdom tooth removed and I'm supposed to be sedated. I'm really hoping that I can get some consciousness back soon after the operation so I can redo my network.

Sometimes the anesthesia plus the pain killers (usually opiates here in the US of drugaddled A) puts you out for a day or two.

The localized numbing agent took a full day to wear off though and i just didn't feel like doing anything for the rest of the day.

But you'll be groggy for a day or two I'd imagine. Depends on the person.
I'm getting pretty nervous out of it all. I haven't been to the dentist in 15+ years and the last time I did, I was under full anesthesia on an operating table.
apple kinda actually has a video about that
Holy hell I've never seen that. Honestly kind of hilarious.

By the way, since you'll be groggy from the sedation, be sure to have someone who will drive you home to recover.
My wisdom teeth hurt constantly but can't afford to get them removed :frown:

Nice that they poke fun at how much control they have, but still. Have you checked your Xrays?
I'm getting pretty nervous out of it all. I haven't been to the dentist in 15+ years and the last time I did, I was under full anesthesia on an operating table.
Eh, wisdom teeth are ez
even with 4 severely impacted wisdom teeth my surgery went very smoothly. i didn't even need to take the vicodin they prescribed me i genuinely thought about selling that shit a few times to make some extra cash but i ended up just disposing of it. i'm glad i didn't sell it too considering i had to fill out an sf-86 a year later
I can only afford the one tooth right now. I'm gonna get my dental benefits and do the others if they start giving problems when I'm eligible for my benefits again.
Got word that I'm getting promoted and making my own team once they can hire someone to take my job

Like my problematic one was almost completely vertical and had to be broken out in parts. Had them all removed because why not.

I only really need one out, but was thinking of getting them all out later in the year.

I'm doing an internship at an IT management company, and I want to gouge my eyes out when I see how many customers use weak as shit passwords. For example, there's a security company (as in installing CCTV cameras, fences and so on I guess) and the password of their fucking router is p@ssw0rd. How goddamn lazy can you be?

Even if Ryzen can't touch Intel in terms of IPC or clock, it's still such a nice thing having so many threads available without spending thousands.
Shadowplay can separate the Mic In audio to it's own channel, and have output as it's own audio channel, but there really isn't much out there for separating audio on the software level without fucking around with audio devices. You have to have experimental features turned on for this to work As for sync issues, I'm pretty sure this is because the video is recorded at a variable bit rate, I've had this problem several times, I'm unsure if it's only when you are recording from a buffer, or on everything (recording from start to finish). I'm pretty sure Microsoft (GameDVR) and Steam (Game Broadcast), both have implementation that actually record/broadcast only the sounds from the game only, which is neet, except I haven't seen anyone else with that tech. But since shadowplay can now capture mic on it's own layer, in post you can turn it off completely, or give it a noise gate. You could find some free software that could most likely do this as a preset automatically, just configure it once and process away each time. Also most video player software don't play multiple audio channels at once easily, except mpv with some arguments mpv.exe --lavfi-complex="[aid1][aid2]amix[ao]"
Haven't been able to find that option yet and turns out I need a new mic. The USB one I have is kinda crap, either that or I have to just not use the High sensitivity mode on it.

Stock cooler will go to 3.7 GHz solid under anything bar prime 95 (which will make it over heat and turn off), after market should reach 3.9 - 4.0 GHz no problem.
If you're wrong about the password format, the electricity cost of the bruteforce is more than the entire economic value of Earth.
Dang. Well, i guess the only thing to do is to save that file until my 70's when the value in it reach a point where it would be worth all money on earth, and it would be probablly bruteforce'd from some server in mars :v: That or if someone find a way to break the encryption RIP $64
Looks like I was (somewhat) right about Vega 56s being only partially cut-down Vega 64s. However AMD didn't lock the bios, so people are flashing their 56s with 64 bios. Since the 56 and 64 have identical PCBs, they can handle the power delivery of a 64 LC, as a bonus. Anyway, a bunch of people are doing it and finding their 56s unlock to anywhere between a 56 and 64 in terms of hardware resources. Factory 56 specs: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2993/radeon-rx-vega-56 'Unlocked' 56+ GPUs: [t]https://i.imgur.com/1JZHGKT.gif[/t][t]http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/17/09/06/j9h.png[/t] Watch the next thing be that RX Vega packages are failed FE Vega ones, and are shipping with 16 total GiB of HBM :v: just disabled in the same way.
Finally got this eMac thing working as a TV and it's not bad.
apple kinda actually has a video about that
Pretty close, to my post oddly enough, but I think Google would have a better chance at that.
