I've got my home folder on a separate partition and just installed windows again, would it be possible to allow windows to use the same partition as the one my home folder is on?
Only if /home is a FAT or NTFS partition. Seriously, those are the only filesystems Windows supports. It's really pathetic.
They're both really pathetic filesystems too. At very least reintroduce support for hpfs.
Don't let Linux and Windows share a partition. It fucks it up.

Um, the home partition is saying it's full when it couldn't be, how would I go about stopping that so I can shrink it.
