Seems the avatars server is down. Again.
Why would they be on a separate server?
Why would they be on a separate server?
One way to make pages load faster. http://developer.yahoo.com/performance/rules.html#split And they're basically on the same server, just under a different domain.

Content ! (sort of) A lot of people that i know call all operating systems windows (You can all ready see they are not very computer literate) so its like "I heard about this linux windows or what kind of windows Macs have ?" i facepalm every time
I hate how everyone calls a windows a PC. The following scenario happened during one of my classes: Guy: Well, you use a Mac not a PC. (talking about ipads or something) Me: A Mac is a PC, it's called windows. Guy: A PC is tower, a mac is a monitor.

My grandparents gave me 700 bucks so I could build my own computer. I got a mid level build all set up. When I try to order it I get an error saying something about my bank account. Before I have time to ponder this, I hear clunking coming from the living room. I walk out into the hallway and I see my dad setting a computer on the ground. "Oh hey, I saw this awesome computer on eBay. The guy said it has five hundred gigabytes of RAM in it and a five thousand something graphics card. It's an Antec 900 case with an Asus P5Q deluxe motherboard, a 2008 ATi Radeon HD4870 512MB, a 2007 313GB Barracuda HDD, Windows XP with Service Pack 2, and a 750 watt Thermaltke PSU. AND HERE'S THE KICKER(s) 1. He unscrewed the bottom-front fan and put it in backwards. So I have 3 exhaust fans and 1 intake fan. 2. The power supply supports SLI. The motherboard has one PCI slot, and there's an ATi card in there. He even gave us the fucking Crossfire bridge, so now I know he's fucking with us. 3. YES, I DID JUST SAY HE GAVE US A CROSSFIRE BRIDGE WHEN THERE IS ONLY ONE PCI SLOT ON THE MOTHERBOARD. 4. A 313GB HDD. Really? 5. I still don't understand why he gave us the crossfire bridge. My dad thinks that he did that so that if we want to switch motherboards later on, we can use that. Yeah, okay, we unscrew the proccessor, take out the ram and GPU, unplug all the cables, unscrew the standoffs, screw in the standoffs taht came with the new motherboard, put the proccessor back in, put the RAM back in, put the grpahics card back in, plug all the cables back in, AND JUST SO WE CAN HAVE A PERFORMANCE INCREASE.

No one knows how to do that, I hope to get some decent content :buddy:

I mean, they come packed with almost every single ATi card. oh and it's a PCI-Express slot, not PCI, they're 2 really different things. You didn't mention the processor model, but that doesn't seem like an abysmal buy, he could have done a lot worse seeing as it is eBay, a lot worse. Still, he shouldn't have bought it without your say so.
Like that "AMAZING SUPA DUPAH 6.4 Ghz" dual-core rig someone posted back in V6...
Go smack your dad, then get your money back.
