CLEAR kirby 64 running nearly perfectly at 1680 x 1050 :smug: one small problem, you have no clue how much HP he or the enemies have :saddowns:
Some content so the thread won't die. I should finish that game already :v:
Can you share how you did the smoothing?
About the lids on DS emus; most have an option to close the lid in the menues (and it's usually bound to a key, too!) Also, played Goldeneye N64 using a 360 controller. Raged so hard that I almost broke the damn thing! Forgot that controllers were hard back in the day. (Still, GE64 at 1680x1050, fucking win.) EDIT: DOSBOX represent, yo!
Can you share how you did the smoothing?
Sure just give me a sec. View>Magnification filter I am using SuperEagle, but some of them may be better. I'll test them. Nope SuperEagle is best. Everything else is blurry or ugly. Also Peace Walker goes ingame now altough very slow.
If I use a PS2 controller USB adapter like this one, will it work with an emulator?

It should work seeing as Dualshock 3 works, too.
It should work seeing as Dualshock 3 works, too.
I tried using DS3, couldn't get the drivers to work :saddowns:
From what I read it's fairly easy http://www.ps3news.com/PlayStation-3/ps3-dualshock-3sixaxis-x64-windows-7-drivers-now-available/ http://www.motioninjoy.com/blog/show/5
I use my Wii to emulate games, if you homebrew it you can get tons of different emulators (N64, PS1, SNES, NES, GBA, Genesis, MAME, Neo Geo), and all of them run amazingly. The N64 and PS1 are a bit more finicky and probably not as good as their PC emulator counterparts, but everything else is. Plus with classic controllers, it's basically a wireless SNES controller, so SNES games are absolutely amazing to play. Playing old games on the TV is better than on your computer monitor.

Here is a guide for the latest version of Motionjoy drivers.
You fuckers reminded me of the repressed memories I had from playing Action 52.
So I was looking around in Dolphin and came across the wireframe option and decided to mess around in metroid prime with it on. Have anyone tried this? http://www.grantgalitz.org/gameboy/ I think it is a web based gameboy emulator but I haven't had the chance to test it because I am int the hospital ATM. It kind of woks in Ios safari which IMO is quite impressive. I don't have any roms for it though.
I need help with dolphin emulator, when playing Wind Waker, after cut scenes or during black loading screens, it would usually freeze during it, unless i mash start then it might have a chance of loading, any help?
I need help with dolphin emulator, when playing Wind Waker, after cut scenes or during black loading screens, it would usually freeze during it, unless i mash start then it might have a chance of loading, any help?
Check their forums, or the game compatibility list. Those usually say what plugins each game runs best with. Every emulator I have ever used seems to slow down tons when dust is kicked up, tons is relative, like from 60fps to 30fps. Main issue is audio stutter.
Now I'm super excited to be building a new computer soon. I can't wait to emulate Gamecube and PS2. Also, I have a bunch of Emulators on my phone. (Galaxy S). Here are some of the best android emulators online for free. (The author of them is releasing them for free temporarily so get them while they're hot.) https://slideme.org/user/yongzh Even the N64 emulator is nearly flawless. Also, here is a great PSX Android emulator. Worth every penny. I've played through Medievil almost entirely without any problems. (Cutscenes are often slow, though.) https://market.android.com/details?id=com.emulator.fpse
Super Mario 64 runs with no errors at full speed on my phone
Super Mario 64 runs with no errors at full speed on my phone
Awesome, the N64 emulator on the PSP isn't even at that level yet
Awesome, the N64 emulator on the PSP isn't even at that level yet
Well a PSP has a weak processor and 32 MB of RAM, a Galaxy S has 1GHz and 384 MB.
Super Mario 64 runs with no errors at full speed on my phone
Literally, the only problem I have with emus on my phone is that controls are hard on the touch screen. That's it.
Awesome, the N64 emulator on the PSP isn't even at that level yet
Because PSP's HW is from 2004. Also only the original 1000 model has 32MB RAM. 2000/3000/Go have 64MB RAM. And here is some media Wolfenstein 3D (3DO)
Can anybody help me with project 64? It doesn't seem to work at all! Anybody want to provide the best settings etc for it?
You should post what exactly is the problem like is it error, crash etc. Also if it's some specific game it might help, too.
Prject 64 has worked well for me. In Mario Kart 64, Razor Freestyle Scooter and Hydro Thunder. Lego Racer 64 was bad though.
I am playing emulated Gran Turismo 2 right now, but Gran Turimo 4 doesn't work in PCSX2 :(
I am playing emulated Gran Turismo 2 right now, but Gran Turimo 4 doesn't work in PCSX2 :(
Same here, i'm using the actual disc, it gets to the part in the intro where it says loads of shit about trademarks, then just freezes
NTSC version should work fine not sure about PAL one. Try latest version if you haven't already http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/ Also you should make ISO. Using disc will result in long loading and additional lag. Wii Menu. If only it had any practical use :|
Same here, i'm using the actual disc, it gets to the part in the intro where it says loads of shit about trademarks, then just freezes
This, and when I make a iso of it i can play it but it artifacts so bad its unplayable and software works fine but its too slow to play.
