• Reformat Windows Using A Flash Drive
    4 replies, posted
Well, basically I bought a Dell Laptop (Yes, it sucks) a year or two ago, and it used to run Left 4 Dead just fine. Now I used this thing for mapping and playing games just a bit, but nowadays it seems much slower than it used to. It can barely run Half-Life 2, let alone Garry's Mod, and these tend to take ten minutes just to get the main menu. This is probably my fault as I may have a virus or two on it, spam, junk, and useless programs that hog RAM. Now, I'm short on money at the moment so until I can get enough to buy a new laptop, I was wondering how I could reformat my laptop using a Flash Drive. I'm not that great when it comes to stuff like this, so how would I go about doing this? I remember reading a tutorial on it once, but I forgot to bookmark it and now I can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated!

If you know you have malware and unneeded processes, why not get rid of those first, then reformat if you still need it?
If you know you have malware and unneeded processes, why not get rid of those first, then reformat if you still need it?
I don't want anything on this computer. Need to back it up, or anything.
