• Low Mic Volume

I recently just bought a Zalman ZM Mic 1 and found out that I can not hear a single thing when I speak into that mic. I have to put it right in front of my mouth to have anyone hear me. I have a Windows 7 64 bit pc if that helps at all. Anyone know a solution to this problem? (User was banned for this post ("Not a tech support forum" - Gran PC))
Return it, get a new one. [editline]13th July 2012[/editline] Also, check your audio settings. Right click volume icon>Recording Devices>Mic at rear panel (or something close to this)>Levels Make sure microphone boost is at 0db and the volume level is at 50 or above.
