My laptop: Intel's integrated video card is bottleneck. My 5 years old desktop gets 5.9 somehow.
Pepper;34818399']Specs?
[editline]22nd February 2012[/editline] this is fast enough for the games I play
That's actually pretty damn good for 160
7.4 ain't bad for a Phenom II X2 550 but my 5770 is letting the team down.
I have two 5770s... and I'm only getting 7.4. What is this nonsense.
5.7, because my HDD is dying
Pepper;34818821']That's WEI for you.
WinSAT isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. If you run it from CMD it'll give you real statistics as to why you scored what you scored. He could've scored lower on some sub-tests causing the average rating of his CPU to be lower.
5.9 because fuck you hard drive (also isnt WEI all bullshit anyway?)
Wait, what... I Have a Phenom II X4 955, and I get a 7.3 as score...
It's actually a quad core because I enabled the cores that aren't suppose to be running. [editline]22nd February 2012[/editline]
I have two 5770s... and I'm only getting 7.4. What is this nonsense.
I actually got 7.4 for it previously but for some reason it went down .1. I'm guessing it only checks 1 GPU.
I have two 5770s... and I'm only getting 7.4. What is this nonsense.
I have a single 6870 and I got 7,8 from both of the graphics tests.
5.9 because fuck you hard drive (also isnt WEI all bullshit anyway?)
Nah, it's not "all bullshit". It might not be a good indicator of absolute performance, like a proper benchmarking suite, but it's good for seeing potential bottlenecks.

This is my Acer Aspire 5733Z: It has crappy Intel HD graphics. For the same price, I could've gotten an AMD/ATI laptop with discrete graphics, but with a really bad processor (I think the processor calibrated at like 4.4, so the stats were basically switched.) I chose the better CPU, since I do a lot of compiling and stuff on this laptop, and I have a desktop for games. WEI is really useful when you're shopping for laptops, assuming they let you demo them. You can quickly compare things without having to know in your head what the difference is between (for example) a 2GHz i3 and a 2GHz AMD CPU.
Im sure you can set these to anything you want by changing one of the windows' files.
Im sure you can set these to anything you want by changing one of the windows' files.
Probably. That's why you run a re-scan if you're checking out a laptop at a store.
