Waiting for some unforgivable porn :colbert:
[QUOTE=Blaberry;29855161]Waiting for some unforgivable porn :colbert:[/QUOTE] Waiting for someone to be enough of an ass to deserve it.
[QUOTE=gman003-main;29855210]Waiting for someone to be enough of an ass to deserve it.[/QUOTE]fuck you!!!
[QUOTE=gman003-main;29855210]Waiting for someone to be enough of an ass to deserve it.[/QUOTE] was that pun intended?
nice job crashing my computer guys :saddowns:. Now I'm going to have to browse fp without images.
[QUOTE=Shooter;29855396]was that pun intended?[/QUOTE] Actually, no.
[QUOTE=Niteshifter;29855575]nice job crashing my computer guys :saddowns:. Now I'm going to have to browse fp without images.[/QUOTE]if that crashes your computer/browser, stop using xp or firefox
[QUOTE=TehWhale;29855618]if that crashes your computer/browser, stop using xp or firefox[/QUOTE] Actually, I need to upgrade my computer instead. Basically everything hasn't been updated in about 8 years since I don't have the money to get a new one.
[QUOTE=gman003-main;29822960]Any document that uses Comic Sans is a document I care not to read.[/QUOTE] Then you'd hate my college, Word is set to Comic sans default and all the assignments are given out with comic sans as the font for it.
All these massive pictures show up fine on my iPhone :v: also I noticed that the ubuntu ui looks like a sexy mixture of the OSx ui and windows 7 ui. I like it. A lot. But I need a program that can play back DVDs. I just want to watch Monty python but it says the DVD is encrypted and I can't find a decrytpor :saddowns:
[QUOTE=gazzy_GUI;29855772]Then you'd hate my college, Word is set to Comic sans default and all the assignments are given out with comic sans as the font for it.[/QUOTE] Where is your school? Preferably in the form of geographical coordinates, accurate to 200 milliarcseconds, for entry into my orbital death ray.
[img]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5733962/boingcano.gif[/img] Not so fuckin' special now, are you Garry? [editline]15th May 2011[/editline] god DAMN that GIF is laggy, sorry about that.
All I see spinning is the "Who's online" picture...
Garry you are a gigantic asshole for doing this. I am going to be blunt. We don't all have eyefinity setups with 10,000x6,000 resolutions or whatever the fuck you have, and image tags make it easier to browse and prevent page stretching when posting huge images, like minecraft maps. [editline]15th May 2011[/editline] Also has anyone seen the new iMacs? Sandy bridge quad cores across the board and HD 6970m 2gb video cards available. Pretty darn good if you ask me. 27" model: $1999 for a 3.1ghz i5 (probably a 2400), 4gb RAM, 1tb HDD, and a 6970m 1gb. Plus a 2560x1440 monitor built in. I think that the price is actually rather good considering it is a prebuilt.

Was it confirmed by Apple?
[QUOTE=Shooter;29856645]Proprietary, non-user replaceable hard drive. That is all.[/QUOTE] At least it's a full terabyte.
[QUOTE=Shooter;29856645]Proprietary, non-user replaceable hard drive. That is all.[/QUOTE] That is all? How often do you replace a hard drive on a computer? I have a 1tb hard drive on my desktop filled with some hundred games and it's not even half full.
I'm at 4 TB.and add a new disk once every two years.
[QUOTE=Baldr 2.0;29856821]I'm at 4 TB.and add a new disk once every two years.[/QUOTE] 4... TB ... Holy fuck where have i been living. I only have 1, 250Gb HDD -- Time to buy some new shit.
1) Why would you buy Apple 2) It's the principal, not the actual effect on my user experience

[QUOTE=ze beaver;29856976]God damnit :argh:[/QUOTE] aye. But it's way better than it was before. Plus it beats out, say, an alienware m18x for the same price.
[QUOTE=areolop;29856922]4... TB ... Holy fuck where have i been living. I only have 1, 250Gb HDD -- Time to buy some new shit.[/QUOTE] My laptop has 500 GB in it.

[QUOTE=Baldr 2.0;29857005]My laptop has 500 GB in it.[/QUOTE] 500gb bros [img]http://www.facepunch.com/image.php?u=230999&dateline=1302185587[/img]:hf:[img]http://www.facepunch.com/image.php?u=403189&dateline=1304884173[/img] [editline]15th May 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=SuperDuperScoot;29857012]How did you end up doing that?[/QUOTE] I'm gonna guess its a greasemonkey script
ah yes, we're now comparing desktops to Alienware laptops
[QUOTE=areolop;29856922]4... TB ... Holy fuck where have i been living. I only have 1, 250Gb HDD -- Time to buy some new shit.[/QUOTE] Same. Once I get a job, you know what I'm buying? I'm going to get as much disk space as possible. At least a terabyte in my laptop. Some sort of NAS with ten times that. I am sick and tired of having only 10% of my Steam library installed, and having to store all my movies on an external drive that takes forever to start up. I want to be able to not worry about space, ever again. Although... I just spotted a 10,000rpm laptop drive. 600gb, over twice my current one. That would speed up loading times considerably... Crap.

[QUOTE=Shooter;29857029]ah yes, we're now comparing desktops to Alienware laptops[/QUOTE] yes because the graphics card says so :downs: [editline]15th May 2011[/editline] mainly because both have a built in screen. It's hard to compare a powerful all in one to anything else since they're rare. I'll try and dig up a decent comparison
