Hi all. I want to know if there is a way to change the bootscreens, logon/logoff screens, theme etc. to make it look EXACTLY like XP in Windows 7? I like Windows 7's design but I like the look of XP.
use xp
He means it's just a matter of opinion, I like Luna too, but I do prefer Aero
Of course it is. :| [editline]26th January 2012[/editline] Unless this is one of those silly "don't state your opinions as fact" things, as though it actually matters. but that would be ridiculous and I'm sure it's something deeper than that.
Calm down guys, some people just prefer Fisher Price UI
Haha don't rage. I do like Windows 7, but Windows XP was the first computer I had. I appreciate the help and please don't rage.
I don't think you can.
I also don't think that you should. Give W7's stock look a chance, you're gonna like it a lot.
Go to themes and choose the oldschool ones. And make the start menu diffrent.
The problem is that he's asking for an exact replica, and that's just not gonna happen.

You came in and said, "The thing you want looks like shit," and contributed nothing to the topic. gparent called you out on it. Who is being more ridiculous?

The OP is the only one who doesn't seem to mind, hilariously.
Fair enough.

I do agree that you and the other posters are being overly sensitive about the issue, considering how many posts you guys made about something I literally do not care about... but me? no. I had already forgotten about this thread.
Windows Royale was my favorite. I miss that theme...

I've been using Windows 7 like since it came out... I know what it's like.
A few years back in high school, I spent a lot of time shifting between Windows 7 at home and Windows XP at school in ROTC. If you actually yearn for the heady days of XP's take on Explorer, you're fucking crazy.
Windows Royale was my favorite. I miss that theme...
I liked Royale over the dated-looking Luna theme, but I liked the Royale Nior and Zune themes even more.
