The worst will be when my next laptop will HAVE to be Win10. P sure unis aren't going to like me using a new MBP. If I could find a 2015 one brand new I'd be fine.

Anyone tried those horrible looking Chinese knock-off smart watches? I ordered one on Wish for like $14 for shits and giggles to as how badly it’ll work with my phone.
Anyone tried those horrible looking Chinese knock-off smart watches? I ordered one on Wish for like $14 for shits and giggles to as how badly it’ll work with my phone.
Really crappy. I ended up getting rid of the one I ordered from Wish.
That IS the final loophole. They're killing that finally. [editline]24th November 2017[/editline] PM me if you want one.
I fresh installed Windows 10 (without accessibility on) using Windows 7 keys just a few days ago tho
I fresh installed Windows 10 (without accessibility on) using Windows 7 keys just a few days ago tho
You don't need any accessibility on to get the upgrade, it's just technically for users of it.

Just a mishmash of icons that didn't do what they were labelled as and so forth. Dropped it off at my local thrift store a week later.

It's already hot enough in Australian Christmas
Events Giving one coin will add one snowflake. The amount of snowflakes will decrease by one an hour. Keep snow on the site by adding more coins.
You can hear the fans already
why not?
TypeC mostly
That IS the final loophole. They're killing that finally. [editline]24th November 2017[/editline] PM me if you want one.
That includes upgrade rights with Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro?
TypeC mostly
What's that got to do with anything? Also you can find the 2015 model pretty much like new on eBay, just got one myself in fact.

What the fuck. The case ordered early Friday morning (like, 1:30 am) along side the other stuff I ordered is here already. Literally nothing else has shipped yet. :v: I'm always kind of weirded out when 3-7 day free shipping takes less than 5 or 6 days.
Got my third xg2401 (the first two were defective) and this one has a stuck pixel :( Doesn't have the same defect as the others though so hopefully I can unstuck it.
Just had to order the RAM for my upcoming upgrade ahead of time. I was checking pricing on RAM to see if it had changed since Thursday. The Trident Z RAM I had been looking at was out of stock and the price had gone up by almost 40€. The RGB version of the same RAM was 6€ lower now because it had been ordered at the same time as the regular RAM, but it hadn't gone out of stock yet so the store had it for old distributor price + profit, instead of current price + profit. So I ordered that.
"Champions Pack? So it's like for a game I don't even own??" "Oh, the game is free and this is like some early access beta code thing that comes with DLC? Ok then, I'll go through the hassle of making an account on AMD's reward site" I do that, and get the email "Welp nevermind then" [editline]25th November 2017[/editline] It's bad enough that the Asscreed Origins that came with my motherboard was a uPlay key, but at least I already had that installed and have an account there :v:
My work laptop runs w10 It's not bad to use, but then again 90% of my time is spent in a browser based cad tool so I don't even really use the rest of it. When I actually have time, I intend to slim it down.
Windows 10 Thin PC fucking when All I need is to run Steam, a browser, and like two or three other programs Windows 7 Thin PC was fucking perfect for throwing on VMs and such

I actually prefer w10 over w7 now. I completely skipped w8 in this house due to new start UI + no need to go to 8.1 after w10 launch. I have gotten used to the new start menu etc. and my w7 and w10 desktop setups are so similar that I am more comfortable with w10 now. I don't know what I'd miss with w7, but I know that I prefer the newer version. A lot of legacy shit like having 2 different control panel UI-s sometimes annoy me though.
:vomit:
We've been looking for something like that at work to replace Visio since Visio isn't available on Mac. Haven't found anything satisfactory yet :v:
Windows 10 Thin PC fucking when All I need is to run Steam, a browser, and like two or three other programs Windows 7 Thin PC was fucking perfect for throwing on VMs and such
What happened to that program that you could use to modify Windows 7 images, and pre-load programs/remove bloat? RT Se7en Lite. We need a W10 version of that. There is a thing called W10 LTSB (Long term service branch) that is available to volume licensees that is basically a stripped down W10 without Edge, Cortana, Store, pre-installed apps, etc.
:vomit:
It actually runs really well and is developed entirely by my company. It's used to adjust models generated via machine learning algorithms that they also develop in-house.
[editline]25th November 2017[/editline] FYI Looks like i have over 60 left. Though some might be dupes. So if you need to update a machine to 10 still, let me know.
Knocked a glass of water onto my Corsair K70 tonight. Watched as each individual LED started turning off, then it went ham with keystrokes for a few seconds and never worked again. RIP K70. Died of a clumsy Protocol7.
I've gone through I think four Corsair keyboards by now due to spilling. I'll be looking at their liquid resistant one next time I think.
I keep my glass of water in between my keyboard and monitor, and I've never once spilled any on my keyboard in the 10 or so years I've had it
