They updated to the shitty new Chrome Subsystem for Firefox addon system which lacks features and generally sucks. They say as all my styles are removed and I have to manually copy paste them in because apparently they are too fucking retarded to figure out how to create styles themselves? Like the data is still there and they can still access it but can't manage to do anything more than display it on a page. Go fuck yourself.
I don't know if web extensions can actually read over the sqlite on the root of your profile. They updated stylish's xul extension a couple times before the update. This probably out in some code to port user data to json. I eventually installed stylish from another profile on my old browsers, since it's signed. And disabled auto updates
Just spent like 6 hours playing 4 way split-screen multiplayer Blur on PC. Kind of sad that there aren't many split-screen games around. Emulators are a way, but playing old N64 games is a bit iffy and me and my friends don't really get that nostalgia feel too, due to lacking a console in our childhood. Some had NES/SNES copies, but we have mostly grown up on PC and SP or online games. but yeah, getting 4 friends around a TV and getting 4 controllers to just race around for a few hours is pretty fun. We tried some Super Smash too, but turns out we suck at it.
As long as you're not exceeding what it's rated for, that shouldn't be the case. Also keep in mind your computer is only drawing full power a small fraction of its actual life, unless you're Bitcoin mining or some stupid shit like that.
Well I'm using an ax760 and it lasted about 4.5 years before this issue started happening, but if you don't think an ax1200i would be worth it, I could save money and go with the AX860i, the 1200i would fit better in my cosmos II.

See what you actually pull and see just how useful the difference really is. It'll probably cost like $30-40 AUD but what's cheaper, $30-40 or the $150 AUD difference between the AX860i and AX1200i.
They updated to the shitty new Chrome Subsystem for Firefox addon system which lacks features and generally sucks.
It'd sure be nice if Google would embrace pre-existing superior specifications for once in their godforsaken life instead of forcing everyone to cater to them in favor of standardizing shit. Mozilla keeps gutting Firefox and changing it into a Chrome clone which is a fucking stupid idea. All it'll do is drive people who hate Chrome away from Firefox leaving them with one of Firefox's alternative branches like Pale Moon or Waterfox. And while there's no particular issue with either of those now, in the future it'll be more annoying since the things they support won't be the same as mainline Firefox so Mozilla Addons and such won't be viable sites to get addons.
Oh shit, I see now. I accidentally closed Waterfox and re-opened it only to be greeted by a blinding white start page instead of the old dark one I had thanks to Stylish. Is there any way I can fix it to make it come back? I didn't manage to save the script I used from the Stylish website. :ohno:

C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[your profile here]\stylish.sqlite is where it's located for me. You'll need something that can open sqlite databases though.
Well fuck. I half-mindedly removed it via Stylish so I doubt it's in there anymore. I am the greatest. :vs:

Today I found out computers can crash in such a way that neither holding the power button nor pressing reset makes it turn off.
Today I found out computers can crash in such a way that neither holding the power button nor pressing reset makes it turn off.
My motherboard has a bunch of panic lights when that happens. So it always feels like an achievement when I do it.
Pepper;52880669']I found out why windows 10 refused to upgrade to a newer version. Ages ago i took ownership of a windows aero theme file. Even SFC /scannow was noping out. gg windows.
Ended up doing something similar with my Arch install last night after a "chown your $(npm config) directory" tip resolved to /usr and wrecked file permissions. Thankfully separate home partitions exist for a reason.
Did you pull the plug? RIP computer
What no, we have power switches in this country.
PPC G5
G4>G5, put a SATA card in it and it’s still an extremely viable machine. [editline]12th November 2017[/editline] The dual G4/1.25 can boot everything from OS 9 to Leopard.
Yeah well, at least the G5 can open websites and won't hang from that
Dual G4 1.25 can watch youtube on the latest version of TenFourFox. Its slow and you can't watch videos full screen without massive framedrops but they are perfectly watchable in the smaller player (albeit at 90% CPU usage). Most websites work fine as long as you have ad block and white-list only what you need in noscript. I wouldn't go as far as "extremely" viable but if you had nothing else and were in a pinch, yeah you could use it as a daily driver. But for OS 9, its pretty much only good for legacy software. My biggest issue is that my more powerful ATI card doesn't work in Mac OS 9, and the other card is kinda crap in OS X so I end up swapping cards when I want to switch OS's. :v:
Not sure if using a dual processor machine is viable if it can't handle light webbrowsing Also funny enough screenfetch recognizes my phone as a PPC G3 :v
Kind of new to this whole raspberry Pi thing but would I need to hook up multiple Pi's together to do a multi screen configuration? Would it act as one computer then or 3 different computers?
Not sure if using a dual processor machine is viable if it can't handle light webbrowsing
Not sure if I agree with that assessment. :v: [t]https://i.imgur.com/63riEuO.png[/t]
No, you can use USB 2.0 to display adapter Yes, if you have multiple raspberry pis they act as multiple raspberry pis
oh wow okay that makes everything so much easier. So i just hook up a display adapter and I have 3 screens? Would they be independent or mirrored?
So I'm doing parking for a private event at my work's parking lot for the football game and it turns out the event is hosted by Citrix. I need to make some friends here but I'm stuck up front lol
Citrix hired and layed off my dad like 3 times in a year awhile ago. He eventually stopped applying :v:
Ok with four WD Reds slotted into my T620 I now have a virtual FreeNAS machine (IT Mode PCI Passthrough). Now to learn how to use a NAS :v:
