Taking a look at supercharger... holy shit hes really trying hard to prove its the best thing ever
Also, to those of you with a GT-I9100G, if you want official CM9 support, go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24471034
If anyone cares: Codeworkx bought the GT-I9100G, CM7 is in progress, CM9 will start when there's atleast a leak of official ICS.

Not deserving it's own thread; Whenever I get a message on Skype , my SGSII (stock I think is the right term 4.0.3, is normal GT-I9100) doesn't vibrate even though I have vibration on (Vibration Intensity for notification is around 50% or so in Settings -> Sound -> Vibration Intensity) in settings and in Skype (Notifications is ticked, New IMs is ticked and Notification vibrate is ticked), anyone able to help me?
I noticed perhaps it is a problem with ICS as my phone (SGS 2, non-stock 4.0.4) doesn't vibrate on incoming texts, it's quite annoying
Is an Xperia Play still worth getting? i love the gamepad on it but i don't know if it's getting abit old. Though the main thing i'll do on it is running emulators, if it can do that i'm happy.
I noticed perhaps it is a problem with ICS as my phone (SGS 2, non-stock 4.0.4) doesn't vibrate on incoming texts, it's quite annoying
What ROM? I have CM9 and vibration works every time, but it's not the long vibration from stock gingerbread, instead it's two short vibrations. And personally I like that more, because two vibrations with a short pause are more noticable while the phone its sock in my pocket. edit: Have you tried playing with Vibration pattern in Messaging settings?
Perhaps I don't even have it enabled, also the screen doesn't turn on which is annoying
I "fixed" the screen not being turned on by using SMS Popup, displays a popup window with the message etc, the beta is a near complete rewrite for ICS and is pretty customizable. (obviously it allows the screen to be turned on for a selected period of time)
Ah that's clever, thank you
My dad got his stock rom running pretty well but he stripped it bare and overclocked it, which requires unlocking your bootloader and voiding your warrenty. [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] You can safely overclock the mini pro to about 2Ghz stable, though it'll probably half the life of your phone.
I probably won't overclock it too much, like 1.5GHz or something like that. And I'm stuck with my Mini Pro for the best 2.5 years so I don't want to "destroy" it.
What's overclocking? [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] Ps I'm not on an Apple device
What's overclocking? [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] Ps I'm not on an Apple device
Downloadin' moar of dem hurts thingies to your phone's brain
Would a list (in the form of a google document or such) of apps made/themed for ICS be welcomed? I'm thinking of creating one. would probably look like: App name (with link) / app description / ICS "integration" level
...What for, exactly?
So you can keep your ICS interface as consistent as possible?
We'll see May 22nd.
Well 2 weeks ago but still. EDIT: My merge :(
1.5GHz sounds pretty low to me, go a bit higher.
2GHz sounds to me like 'I wonder how many minutes will it last?'
1.5GHz sounds pretty low to me, go a bit higher.
I don't know what you're doing with your phone to notice these kinds of changes
1.5GHz sounds pretty low to me, go a bit higher.
But. But. But. The battery life. Either way, I'll slowly go higher
But. But. But. The battery life. Either way, I'll slowly go higher
1.6Ghz, Ondemand. Sorted.
Is there a way to actually force auto rotation to be off in apps like YouTube? I like to sit in bed on my side and watch YouTube videos but it always auto rotates so that it's always oriented down, so it's difficult to watch. Before somebody says it, yes auto rotation is disabled in system settings and I will tell you to go to hell if you suggest disabling auto rotation in system settings.
Looking for some quick help. Need a SD card for my Galaxy S2 because I sold my iPod and need it for my music. Is this card good? http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/11407935/art/sandisk/32gb-mobile-ultra-micro-s.html Also, will it definitely fit in the S2? Thanks
http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/10733884/art/sandisk/32gb-microsd.html Just use that one
The other one is only an extra 2 euro since it is free delivery, the one you posted ends up being like 31. Which one would be the better one for a difference of 2 euro
Taking a look at supercharger... holy shit hes really trying hard to prove its the best thing ever
He is, but honestly it's pretty simple, just an automated script that changes OOM killer settings to keep a certain level of free RAM and does changes in which how programs get ordered, with some extra stuff like sqlite data base cleaning and some extra kernel tweaks.
