did you take that photo with a one X?
Yeah
Yeah
I want that phone badly, the screen looks incredibly nice [editline]19th May 2012[/editline] and that camera is pretty sweet
God damn the Mail Exchange Service on the GNex is utter tripe. My mum uses hotmail on her GNex and the Exchange process keeps the phone awake forever. So her phone goes from 100% to 0% in three hours even if its in her pocket the entire time. If I disable the process, she can't receive email from her hotmail account and doesn't want to use the gmail account she has. And according to ICS' fantastic data tracking system, it appears the exchange service uses 100mb a day syncing her stuff even when no mail was received. Who let that crap pass through QA?
Try using an alternative client. K9 mail is pretty sweet.
Yeah
Sexy.
Just installed MIUI to my One X, might as well give it a little try. Gotta love NANDroid.
I had someone look at my SGSII and call it an iPhone :downs:
Some people don't notice it, especially when you're playing games and they ask you what your Apple game center stats/account name is. Happened to me when I was using a friends SGSII. I had an interesting conversation where I denied giving her any info and I just kept on playing.
Hey everyone, I just got a Samsung Galaxy Spica. It has Android 2.2 on it. And Cyanogen mod. And tell me guys, first time I'm ever having a phone with Android. (I used Samsung Monte before. Never again.) Is it worth installing Gingerbread, and is there going to be any performance loss?
Woah woah woah, why did you get such an old phone? The spica was great, and the custom roms on Samdroid were and still are good, but why did you get such a bad phone? The ZTE Blade is probably the same price and better.
Flashing Cyanogenmod 7.2 rc. Please please please don't fuck over my phone like last time I had CWM installed D:

I'm thinking of getting Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman at this very moment.
Hell yes I might be getting a galaxy nexus today.
So I totally got S-Voice on my HTC One X.
tell me more
apk plz I don't expect it to be any better than the voice whatever thing S2 had by default though.
It was the only thing I found interesting on the S3 Siri is awesome
It was the only thing I found interesting on the S3 Siri is awesome
There is a ton of perfectly working alternatives on market, which work as good as Siri. Samsung one is probably going to be worse then them The one with some "personality" Straightforward and simple Parody made in 24 hours (works really well) Vlingo is the only one with custom TTS though, all others use awful stock android one (but hey you can install a different one if you want)

Can anyone recommend me a good Verizon android phone with a keyboard? Keep cost in mind as I'm going to be buying this with my own money. (It's off contract too)
Gonna try to keep my One X unrooted.
Can anyone recommend me a good Verizon android phone with a keyboard? Keep cost in mind as I'm going to be buying this with my own money. (It's off contract too)
AFAIK Only Motorola currently makes Android phones with a physical keyboard. HTC used to (Desire Z and the complete joke named ChaCha).
Don't get Motorola if you like updates.
Gonna try to keep my One X unrooted.
Why? [editline]19th May 2012[/editline]
Don't get Motorola if you like phones.
ftfy
Why not?
My Atrix is p.sweet but I would have been disappointed as fuck if I'd picked it up full price on release.
Apparently according to Motorola, the Razr is getting ICS "Q2" haha right
Alot of the people on FP seem to have an Asus TF101, I've encountered the bootloop problem but usually it would stop after I held down the power button and then coldstarted it. Right now I can't get it to stop going through it's bootloop and I'm waiting for the battery to run out. Any suggestions, and has anyone heard of Asus addressing the problem, I heard the last update was supposed to fix it but really didn't do anything. [editline]19th May 2012[/editline] No wait I can get it to power down, but when I start it back up it continues to bootloop.

well im happy These are all anyone will probably use it for anyway [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8664592/Screenshot_2012-05-19-21-14-31.png[/t] [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8664592/Screenshot_2012-05-19-21-17-29.png[/t] Only thing is, this is literally nothing new, its just a better UI to Vlingo :v:
I'm hoping with the near completion status of Google's acquisition of Motorola, they will be more open to rooting and such.
and my Droid X will get an update to ICS....
